Same! The choices were not great, and the products were subpar. I really liked FabFitFun until the fall box.

I don't know if there's any substantiation to this, but I've heard rumors that these subscription box services (so it's not just FabFitFun) send better boxes to influencers who are on their partners program or whatever they call it, because they want the influencers to promote and get excited about the "good" boxes and get people to subscribe. Because you purchased this box yourself, maybe they didn't prioritize your box with the good stuff.

Yeah, I believe that 100%. Not once have I seen a creator who is partnered with them talk badly about any item in a box. And why would they when they're sent great boxes to begin with? Then tack on the partnership and that's what you'll get. This is the 1st FFF unboxing I've viewed in over 2 yrs because I couldn't stomach the fakery of it all, lol

The key is to CUSTOMIZE your box! If you don’t customize it you get the stuff no one else wanted! That’s why you didn’t get the fuzzy slippers, hat etc. I’m an annual member and I can pick EVERY item in my box. I know seasonal members can select from some but not all categories. CUSTOMIZATION IS KEY

Agreed! I would never get FFF if I couldn't customize at least most of the options. Those LP mugs have been around for like the past two years in FFF boxes aka they have too many and are giving them to all the people that don't customize.

Last season I picked the mini air purifier, which I love, but now they've got me buying replacement filters for it each season as an add on 😩

I actually like volition beauty. They make basically the only vitamin c serum my skin can tolerate. They used to be sold a sephora. Very short shelf life though.

I did it for a whole year and then ended my subscription winter 2022 (which is I guess really 2021 by their standards). I’m annoyed with getting repetitive items each season. I was able to give extra to my mom, but also when they have really good items and I’m not the highest paying member… they’re gone by the time I get to pick. But I have so many kitchen items and home items I use DAILY from them, so it’s not a waste. Plus I got my favorite floss and cleansers from there! And also my robe. And don’t blame yourself for not getting the palette on time! I just hope someone posts swatches but I’ll probably buy it anyways lol This is my DREAM color story. Even my best friend told me it’s a ME palette 😂

I got almost all my animals’ bowls from the thrift store! After they second or third one I got from petco broke (I think got pushed off the counter), I decided it was silly to spend so much on them. And my dog and cats couldn’t care less! I’m excited to see your live swatches whenever they go up, don’t rush yourself!

I really loved my FFF box for winter - But I have annual so customized. I got the scale, too. I also got - car organizer (fantastic for between the kids in the car), fabric shaver, makeup remover spray, aceology mask, and herbivore clarity cream (which I’m in love with). I’m late to the FFF game and just signed up this year, but no regrets even with all the crazy complaints! 🙌 I can see why all the mugs would be disappointing if that’s all you got though. Also, the coach earrings were a choice option. I almost got them because my name starts with a C. 😂❤

I lived in north jersey about 20 years ago, had a handful of nice thrift & consignment shops I went to, got good stuff. There's nothing here around East Brunswick except a small overpriced goodwill. I just counted 6 off memory. The set of mugs, single mug, scale, butter dish, nesting bowls and that face product. I'm curious about the prices on the butter dish and scale because you can buy a butter dish like that at TJ Maxx, Marshall's or Homegoods for less than $7. The scale? My husband bought me one from Walmart that was just under $20. From what I can tell on screen mine is a tad bit bigger. I think these boxes ramp up the prices on many of the products. I'd much rather hit up a store with that money and buy what I know I'll actually use (get what I want)...
