We absolutely didn’t cruise against Bournemouth. If I’m removing all my bias, the penalty was soft - I’ve seen them given, but there’s minimal contact, I can see why the VAR doesn’t overturn it, but on the flip side if the ref hadn’t gave it I don’t think VAR would overturn that either. We also could’ve had a man sent off when MacAllister probably should’ve got a second yellow. Bournemouth should’ve scored at 1-0, Kluivert missed quite literally an open goal from 5 yards, few minutes later we scored our second. Up until that second goal they were putting it on us. Don’t get me wrong, we did play well in spells and I think we created the better openings overall, but we far from “cruised” that game and on another day we absolutely could’ve dropped points. I think people just half expected Bournemouth to blitz us because of their recent run, but in all seriousness that was pretty unlikely. I think we will go on to win the league, but for me personally it’s not over yet and if I was an Arsenal fan I wouldn’t be giving up on it at this stage.
