In this episode, the viewer mentions that they’re now in Champion League but their hangar is getting destroyed. Overall the hangar composition isn’t bad so is it perhaps the pilots, modules, drones or maybe even the weapon setup that is the weakness? This is episode 194 of the Dream Hangar series.

I use a angler with quarters and and nucleon and it’s really fun to use. It’s a very underrated setup and shreds through shields in seconds

just hit master as f2p by getting beacons with the strider and getting carried with the lynx (i can play an entire match without it dying) here is my dream hanger which is basically an upgrade of my current hanger - lynx with redeemers and cat - nether (better strider) with splinters and shieldbreak pilot - fenrir with harpoons and bernadette - ravana with sonic shotguns - erebus with decay

Yep. The reload I guess isn't that bad but it really doesn't pack a punch. With Avalanche I think you have to run at least 4 of them to really make it work but then... why run that when you have other options like Decay for example which can also be built in Workshop and not only hits harder it has a faster reload and more range.

Lynx is not a tank..

No actually that could be a number of things. If you look at his Lynx it's generally very tanky but because his Avalanche weapons don't have sustained damage it doesn't perform well. If it doesn't perform well at close range, it means his opponent who might have sustained damage weapons will usually win those fights on him. In the case of Fenrir we still have a meta with a lot of Aegis but also faster moving robots. Those Aegis Shields will block those sonic weapons which is why I tend to favour more Blast Shot Guns (Cudgel, Mace, Hammer) in the current meta. It could also be his combination of modules too. For example imagine running a damage drone like Kestrel and maybe 3 Overdrive Units on the Fenrir. That Fenrir will go down very fast because it has nothing to fall back on in terms of resistance, extra durability or even Last Stand. I hope the above makes sense because it isn't just about robot level like most think. Also if you're familiar with my Baby Account you'll see a lot of similarities in terms of what pilot and modules I use - it's one reason why that account does well even despite having much lower equipment than my opponent.

Cryptic Fenrir : Igniter and Puncher (two Repair amp, overdrive and advanced heal) Wolff Pilot 2. Lynx : Redeemers (Phase shift, immune amp, one overdrive and one nitro) Otto Schreyer pilot 3. Shenlou : Fengabo and Leiming ( Nuclear amp, overdrive and last stand) Bai Xing pilot 4. Dagon : Kramolas ( three overdrive) idk the legendary pilot for dagon 5. The Luchador definitely seems a bit weaker with the nerf to the Titan Repair Amplifiers . But it's still a good Titan . Also can you do the evolution of robots series again like do the Bulgasari into the Pathfinder and do the Funny Builds Friday series again ?

At this point I don't think so. I think you're much better off going for something like a Skyros as that's tankier and really helps with beacons. The better choice would be to go for Lynx as that's pretty much an improved version of Orochi. Hope this helps!

I stop playing war robots after they release titans and I come back few months ago and I was able to get decent hangar. I'm in master league right now and I don't think I can reach champion league. If you got decay/blight from the workshop for your hawk, it would work better As for nodens, I've found that lances work really well, but obviously, those aren't the most accessible weapons Edit: the rest of he hangar could do decently in champions league

damage repulse is better as Leeches when in their ability can be used to brawl one on one. Even in a group battle 65% damage reduction is a lot. That is the same damage deduction rate as the Falcon(66%) i would go for the damage repluse pilot Explanation: in the current meta speed is useless. It’s all about how much damage your robot can take and also give and still survive. so yeah. especially with the weapons being like mk3 damage output is alot so u need sth that can eat all that damage without causing significant casualties to your robot thank you

Try angler with invisibility modules and a glider drone works better than your set up. Do not use what he's using you will die. Rusty bones has left the building

There's a reason why you never see any of the top players use Glider - it's because that drone is one of the worst drones even when fully maxed out. If you're saying to use Cloaking Units what if your opponent is running Seeker? You would have wasted 3 Cloaking Units with no gain to either damage, speed, durability or resistance.

That hanger should work if it’s leveled up. The mothership isn’t good and angler I find is too slow personally but I see lots of anglers in upper champs league. I don’t like sonics on fenrir for the reload sucks. On fenrir I use subduer/dampers much better option. I see CRASHnBURN clanmate in 1st game.hi crash! Decay blight on angler would be better choice.

Yep! I figured they would because I noticed quite a big change on my Baby Account. There were also multiple comments on it in Pixonic's chat. Speaking of which… they also announced today they banned a squad. Not sure if they mean the whole clan but they did mention a "squad" which was posted in their Discord chat.

The best way is to just post your Dream Hangar. When I do these videos I go through the previous Dream Hangar video and read the comments and pick one. I generally don't do these videos regularly because they do require a lot of time both recording and editing - usually around 6 to 12 hours sometimes for each video.

can you try my hangar too i am at champs league but couldnt find what to use for my 5th to best suit my hangar lynx-harpoons and kestrel fenrir-sonic/barrel mender-harpoons/schai(hope i spelled it correctly :)) ravana-sonic/armadillo crisis-decay/showdown(want to change) for most of the games my lynx carries me. my fenrir is really good at tanking and mender is very fast and lets me help best player of my team to win. i use my ravana to bait/kill campers but my crisis usually dues really fast and doesnt really do good for most of the time

For Angler you need Spy and Road Hog for more speed but you got it mostly right especially with 2 IA NA

That helps although with this specific build I don't think you really need that much speed since your Nucleon and Quarkers give you range. I think if I was running maybe sonic or perhaps blast shotguns then having the speed helps to get close.

It has to do with who I was playing against - they have an STF player there who is a Champion League player. When I play against stronger players then I always push beacons to add additional pressure to them. This is where strategy comes in and it isn't all about brute force.

You should have to replace your crisis and ophion if you are in higher league. I prefer angler , lynx & typhon hazard Only .

@@EVILOLIVE341 More just testing things. The Bernadette can work too. I prefer to show options not just one route for the player to take. Not sure if that makes sense? Replace Avengers with ember. Avenger ls damage output does not just do it anymore in nowadays meta. back in the days, avenger ao jun used to be the meta, not anymore. Try ember. or change the robot itself. Ao jun aint good. i also got it but i dont use it. u can use it unless it’s an Ultimate version.

Id change Ao jun, dies way too easily and the ability mostly misses, i but one too but stopped using it very quickly as it's very easy to kill and rarely get lots of kills with it 😊

I posted this in response to someone else who mentioned the exact same thing about low level bots. "No actually that could be a number of things. If you look at his Lynx it's generally very tanky but because his Avalanche weapons don't have sustained damage it doesn't perform well. If it doesn't perform well at close range, it means his opponent who might have sustained damage weapons will usually win those fights on him. In the case of Fenrir we still have a meta with a lot of Aegis but also faster moving robots. Those Aegis Shields will block those sonic weapons which is why I tend to favour more Blast Shot Guns (Cudgel, Mace, Hammer) in the current meta. It could also be his combination of modules too. For example imagine running a damage drone like Kestrel and maybe 3 Overdrive Units on the Fenrir. That Fenrir will go down very fast because it has nothing to fall back on in terms of resistance, extra durability or even Last Stand. I hope the above makes sense because it isn't just about robot level like most think. Also if you're familiar with my Baby Account you'll see a lot of similarities in terms of what pilot and modules I use - it's one reason why that account does well even despite having much lower equipment than my opponent."

Hey Adrian This is my current hangar! I am a f2p Player and all of my bots are level 9. I know I'm playing most of the time against MK2/MK3 players, but I often struggle with my hangar. UE Destrier with two fortifiers, one nucl. I'd replace the UE Destrier with a Fenrir or Typhon that has more power, also try to use other weapons aside from harpoons that offer more range. Also try running Hazard or Weber on UE Spectre, Labrys is mid in my opinion. Maybe try Redeemer/Magnum on the Shell? Finally, try running Gauss or Decay on your Crisis.

Why is this titled "is this the weakest Angler build", and why is it suggested on the liver server? You only played the angler once, for a short time, and all you said was "I've been enjoying this build for the angler". Am I missing something??

Yes you're missing a lot of things. Firstly the title is "Is this Angler Setup the Weakest Link?". Meaning… is this the weakest setup in the lineup I ran - I am not implying it's the weakest setup for Angler but rather for this viewer's Dream Hangar. You mentioned I only played the Angler once well it's the best game I showcased. The way that Dream Hangars works is… the viewer submits their Dream Hangar. I then build it to spec but everything is maxed out. I run a few games and then select the best game which highlights that hangar. Based on those games I also learn what the weakness is (and strengths of that hangar). Then… in the second half I will go in and tweak the builds. This means I might change out the weapons, maybe the modules or drones and try to optimize it further to see if I see an improvement. I then run more games and showcase the base one from that lot. This way the viewer can see a comparison in terms of how that build was optimized and has a better idea of what to upgrade or whether to even upgrade that build at all. I hope the above makes sense because this series can help a lot of players. For example most think that having a maxed out hangar means you'll win or having the newest robot gives you a massive edge. If you watch the most recent episode the viewer had terrible builds and even at max level I struggled. However… just by changing the builds slightly you can see a massive improvement in terms of performance. Sometimes it's not a matter of me using the latest drones too but rather just changing out a few things to get better results.

Not sure where you're going with this. This player was struggling with his hangar but I think also you don't quite understand what this series is about (based on your comment). Just to explain things so you understand. Let's say you're struggling in Champion League because you recently made it but you believe the reason why you're not doing well is because you're not maxed out with meta. What I'm doing is building your hangar using all maxed equipment. I then run games and I evaluate if it's really because of the levels or is it because of your builds. By running those games I can see the weakness in your hangar such as whether you are running too much range, maybe the modules you're using aren't the greatest or maybe the builds themselves. In the case of this viewer, I found his Lynx on the weaker side because even at max level it wasn't outputting enough damage when I went up against things like Curies. While I would hit Curies and do "some" damage it wasn't sustained damage and the Curie would just heal up. This tells me that builds such as Puncher, Redeemers or maybe Hammers would be more ideal - all of those can be built in Workshop. With his Fenrir he had sonic weapons and while that build can definitely pack a punch, we're now in a meta with more Aegis Shields so sonic weapons don't do that well. They weren't nerfed or anything it's just that they aren't good against Aegis builds - in this case you will knock an Aegis down but by the time you do that the interval between your shots have increased and as a result you don't have enough firepower to follow through. This is why running something like Punchers and Igniters makes more sense. I hope the above actually makes sense to you because it's not all about having max level equipment like most think. There's a reason why my Baby Account has progressed so fast and that's because I have builds that are "watered down versions" of the max/optimum builds. I'm not the only one that does this though I'm pretty sure you do it along with many others but you don't realize it. If I asked you to restart an account from scratch you would most likely gravitate towards certain builds - you are doing the exact same thing that I'm doing except with me I'm doing it with max level equipment based on what I see in the current meta.

Nuclear Amplifier would work actually on both. For the Ophion I would typically run two depending on the weapon setup. Being that Ophion is much weaker now I would want my Nuclear Amplifier charged up quickly so having two allows me to do this. In the case of Lynx I would want just one and then maybe 2x Immune Amplifiers, 2x Repair Amplifiers, possibly 2x Nuclear Amplifier and Last Stand if I'm running something like Redeemers. Hope this helps!
