Here from reddit. Nice production, wish I could afford such a lovely fermenter!

Hey John, really glad you came over to say that! I hear you, I have been like this for years and always wanted one. But if I wouldn't do content about them, I probably still couldn't afford them - hence why I am super grateful to have the opportunity. But you can maybe find used tanks like this one in the US, I hear often about good deals on unitanks. the used market for homebrewing gear is way bigger than here in Germany.

Danke dir! 😊 Ja, ich habe mich letztes Jahr echt viel mit KZbin beschäftigt und versuche mich weiterzuentwickeln. Meeeega geil, das ist ja mal der Hammer! Glückwunsch!! Also kommt als nächstes das FCS? 🤐🤣

Great video, very tempting! Does the sight glass cause any concern for light strike on your beer?

Thanks mate! :) So far I didn't run into an issue, but I also try to avoid direct sunlight for long period of times.

How many liters you fermented in this around 28-30L or more? I would have gotten one if the cone was smaller volume wise. I brew 20-22L so stayed with my grainfather fermenters. Did get a miniuni+ to use as a bright tank but I am still working out the temp control to connect it to the grainfather chiller.

I have only done one batch, that was a double batch with 2x 25l (I don't have a brewing system that is big enough) but with the first 25l it seemed to work. But I guess if you fill it more with like 30l it has more surface area for cooling. I think there are some users that have this combo of chiller and fermenter - maybe post it in the Brewtools Facebook group.

Great video Dave! What kind of glycol chiller are you using for your brewtools fermenters and how you are planning to attach it to the FCS? Submersible pump or selenoid valve?

Thanks Jan!! Right now I have the Icemaster G20, which I am looking to sell eventually. As I have more like three to four fermenters, I need something with more output so I am leaning towards the new Lindr / Brewtools ones. With the FCS, I still haven't figured that one out. I gotta see how I would do it, but I think there just these two ways right?

Yeah, there are these two options. I am planning to get a MiniUni 30+ and FCS looks super awesome. As I am brewing in a shed, I would not only need a glycol chiller, but also heating for colder months and kveiks. As far as I know, Brewtools are currently also working on a combined temperature and density sensor. So right now you are setting the glycol temp to your desired fermentation temperature? Let me know, when you want to sell the Icemaster. I might be interested 😊

@@janr81 Yeah that is excatly what I am doing - seems to work fine :) I will let you know for sure - where are you from?
