Thank you Dennis for recognizing the significance of Canadian Hot Rod history. Not only was B.C. a hot bed of Canadian hot rodding but Southern Ontario also had it’s place mainly in the world of drag racing. That was GREAT Dennis. I'm glad to have gone there and talked with you there. It really was an amazing event. I know most of those people you interviewed, and you picked a fine selection. Someone below asks about the odd black car seen near the beginning. That was completely custom built by a local guy in the late 50's (As I recall) and not customized off something else.

Man, I really wish building a custom hotrod was still something that was affordable for a regular guy to do. Between high prices and scarce parts, you have to be rich to build something that you can be proud to show. It's a shame, cause I've got some skills in mechanics, auto body, fabrication and I've got a lot of ideas. It would be great to build a car with my son. But I don't have the time, money or space to do it. I'm in my 40's now and I hope that I can have a chance to build at least one custom car before it's too late. I don't even care if it's a show car. I just want something that I can drive around and say that I designed it and built it myself. But for now I'm just hoping that I can find a car for my son to get him involved with the hobby before he starts driving
