Entered my first tournament recently. I made it to winners finals on stream, ran into this MU got double perfected one round and lost the set. Totally ruined my mindset leading in to the next match so I lost again. I haven't played as much this year but it got in my head being beat that badly.

So my thoughts before watching the video are that I would go ahead and descend that he is net nerfed even if by a little bit because losing his reversal is definitely not going to get compensated by his crappy backdash cancel. I also think pappa is more of a trade-off than a complete buff that some people say it is. finally, his health changes leave him with one more HP than before but now he is a middle of the pack HP and not the highest

I do NOT play Slayer and he is the most fun to play against, I love that character, also not as prominent as other top tiers TBH so I don't see the issue. The most unfun to play against is Chaos

When every single top player interview has a lengthy topic on how terrible this patch is to play, can we collectively, inarguably agree that this season is horrendous so far? To me, Slayer was the canary in the mine. If the rest of S3's characters weren't enough indication that the team didn't know what they were doing with balancing, Slayer was as clear a sign as you could get.

Before he look like bug baboons. now he look like desperate baboons. A good and cool character. but have a toxic button that require, no effort to be use. fighting slayer is like you doing spin with sword 5 time then he let go his sword and his sword spin around his body 5 time the go back to his hand and clash with Ur sword. 5 k is good neutral. 2d is good neutral. mappa J is good neutral jump 5s and 5h is good neutral. he good good button for many condition. but no slayer use gonna see it cause the UI for 2H is to big, it cover all the other option.

He feels appropriately nerfed without getting rid of the stuff slayer players like, it was a win, win imo.
