Elphelt might not be the strongest character in strive or xrd but man is she annoying to fight, in both. Her themes are fire tho. Extras got this holiday season vibe for some reason and Marionette feels like a proper gg2 overture boss theme (which I guess was supposed to be the thing for the xrd ram as well but to me her theme sounds kinda mid compared to phelt's)

I think Elphelt is fine, her rekka can be annoying the firsts round/games, but you can just mash 5P or 6P if you guess right once. The annoying thing about Elphelth is her 50/50 with Bomb bomb chocolat, even if you hit her, the bomb still explode, so you can just go bomb bomb every time to force a 50/50 and win the interaction even if you guess wrong. Her 236S/H is a little bit annoying too when Elphelt just jumps and fire over and over again.

Downplaying. Bridal is better than Mappa. It's just on a worse character.

you get way more reward for using mappa on slayer though and using fprc on blocked kappa can set up way stronger mixup. also slayer has pmappa which is a great blockstring tool.
