The line is 50lb test, your leader line would be less then 50lb, typically I use 30lb and it will break before the line breaks.

hey tackle 2 the people! i have 2 good fishing spots for you! one spot is on Race Point beach on the Cape. you can usually drive your 4x4 car onto the beaches but you have to get a weekly/yearly oversand pass to drive. if you can i would go to Race Point South for deeper water. The other fishing spot is on a little lake called Ballston Lake. It is in upstate NY just a little north of Albany off of I-87. it is a private lake however so you would have to pay a little bit to launch a boat. you can use motors on the lake. the lake is best known for its largemouth and smallmouth bass. hopefully we can see a video of you going to these places!

People worried about losing it, you use a lower lbs test to attach your weights so that's what breaks. If you do it right the only thing that causes you to lose the cam is a shark sanding through your line with its tail, and even then it has to be longer than your leader.. Although that said, an "electric" line is not a camera. A camera would require at least 2 wires but much much more likely 4 to be powered and transmit data, so I'm very curious how they pull that off. Almost curious enough to Google it... We'll see how it goes

The shit we lost that we can get back!!!!! My ding bat sister was crappie fishing in her yak, using 2 poles, the second pole apparently got snagged and she drifted far enough to put enough tension on the pole some how it went flying out of the yak into the murky depths. Dude I bought my gf a $450 rod for her bday. Less than 6 mon later she was kayaking and went under trees. The trees lifted it gentle out of the rod holder and she did not notice. Paddled her drunk ass away and someone got a very nice rod. Threw my kayak through the back window of my truck while loading. $1200 trip to the lake that day. 🤣🤣🤣

I remember thinking of this idea a while ago and thought it was kind of silly and uneconomical, lo and behold someone actually did it. I'm not sure how this would fare in freshwater applications maybe it would be good on a clear lake. But most people who could afford this probably already have a boat or livescope rendering it kinda useless. I just love the hunt too and knowing where all the structure is without having to see it there's always that one clear path near a bunch of structure where you always get bites.
