I can say it probably cost around $90 to make, depending on the size of the order volume. Crazy retail pricing

Yes I agree for that price you need at least a hacking movement. I guess at least they are doing a bit of a different design, unless it is a homage of something I'm not familiar with.

I've seen your review. Where do you get the watch from China? If you read the site carefully, they do not work with made in Swiss, but the watch consists of 90% parts from Switzerland. They are very clear about this on the site.

Japanese movement/Made In China. There is nothing on their site about using 90% Swiss parts....lol.

Of course it costs loads more than a run of the mill Seiko diver. So many proprietary parts. But hey, when you can't tell the time and the dial is a gimmick...all the rest of the value earning parts kind of goes out of the window.

You were pretty much spot on with this one 🤔 Not sure if I could bring myself to drop $150 on it. At the price they're asking; they should have put a genuine Sea-Gull Tourbillon movement in it. Had to laugh when you showed the "Bridge to Nowhere"😂. Still, not as bad as the fake Tourbillon you reviewed a while back. I'm okay with the weight as I have over 20 watches >300g. Unless I'm in a formal setting, I like to know I'm wearing a watch.

I thought the design looked pretty unique from the pics/ video, but I'm not in the market for an $800 watch. Plus if I was, I'd like to see the watch and try it on. Does it suit? Re pricing, if you pay a lot (well quite a lot) for something, it must be good! Obvious, isn't it. They should just stamp 'Made in China' on the back and see what that does to the price.
@maverickwatchreviews4 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I have never seen such a con job by a watch manufacturer before.

Hello from Germany, I bought the watch and the design is very beautiful. First of all, everyone has to decide for themselves. But I've often asked myself, what makes a watch expensive and famous? If you say the watch is too expensive, what would be a fair alternative in your opinion? At the moment I am personally not willing to spend more than 1000 EUR on a watch. What would you recommend? Are there any insider tips? And why are there no used watches from Code41 to buy on ebay or something? Thank you for your answers, tips, insults, etc.! ;-)
