Yes the modern Theology of Christianity is corrupted but that does not mean you cannot believe in Yeshua as a messiah and still hold to the Torah that is what I do and many more Christians are becoming for a lack of a better term Hebrew Roots believers The first century Christianity was made up of Jews and of Gentiles who converted to Judaism and that's the path I follow

Read the book of Revelations my friend, chapter 18:1 to 19:3 tells us that Babylon the Great will fall, and because of its 'Blood Guilt' retribution on behalf of the biblical prophets and of the holy ones will be exacted against the 'Harlot' (pseudonym for a city).and because its spiritualistic practice has misled the world it will be destroyed for good. It's pretty obvious which city it's referring too

Jesus didn’t lay out Christianity. Saul of Tarsus did. He fabricated a cult just like Mohammed did with Islam and Joseph Smith did with Mormonism. I left RCC over 20 yrs ago because it didn’t make sense. Only Judaism makes sense to me but I’m too old to convert. Noahide movement is perfect for me. There isn’t anything bad about it. I’m trying to become a righteous gentile.

D'varim 30 v.15-19 makes it clear. We have a choice. We can choose good, or not. And we must bear the responsibility, and the consequences, of our choices and actions. And we are told earlier in v.11-14, that upholding the law, and doing good, isn't a difficult task. We are able to do it, and we have no excuses if we don't.

Knowledge of the future does not contradict not interfering with people's free will. Imagine Person A takes a time machine 10 years into the future to his best friends wedding, he sees the exact day and time the wedding is, the location, what his best friend is wearing, who he is marrying and all the details of the wedding. Person A then writes all the details on a paper, seals it in an envelope, and takes his time machine back to the present, gives the envelope to his friend and tells him "don't open this till the morning after your wedding". 10 years go by, and his best friend opens the enevelope the morning after the wedding to see that Person A predicted every single detail of his wedding. Did person A intervene at all with his best friends free will and choices? No, he did not. Although it is true that there are times where God DOES take certain people's free will away, [as He did to Pharo, exodus 7 verse 3, exodus 9 verse 12] in general God's Divine Providence is run by allowing people to have free will when it comes to choosing between good vs evil. As the Torah sages passed down "Everything is in the hands of heaven EXCEPT for the fear of heaven". And "Everything has been foreseen and yet still free will has been given".

@@nathanspodium Jesus is not the messiah named David who is described in Tanakh Jewish scripture. Deuteronomy 13:7 (Deuteronomy 13:6 in a Christian bible) If your brethren (who is), the son of your mother (meaning a Jew because it is through the mother that the religion of Judaism is passed on), …” Note 1. The religion of Judaism is passed from the mother to her biological children. Note 2. The religion of Judaism is not passed on from the male to his biological children. . Numbers 1:18 And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families (to trace their genealogy to a tribe), by their fathers' houses, according to the number of names, each one from twenty years old and upward. Note 1. Jesus came from a virgin birth meaning Jesus had no biological father meaning Jesus was born as a Jew without tribal inheritance because he had no biological father meaning Jesus has no biological connection to King David. Note 2. In Judaism a tribe is inherited only through the biological father and not through a mother like Mary or through a non-biological adopted father like Joseph. Note 3. In Judaism a tribe cannot be chosen but is inherited through the biological father. . Psalm 132:11 The Lord (God) has sworn to David in truth, from which He (God) will never turn back (meaning God will never change His mind in the matter of the following decree), "Of the fruit of your body (meaning from the biological descendants of King David) I (God) shall seat on your (King David’s) throne. Note 1. Forever means that there will always be biological descendants of messiah King David through messiah King Solomon who can be the messiah who is promised in Tanakh. Note 2. The seed of David will descend biologically through Solomon forever meaning the messiah described in Tanakh must have a biological father because inheritance of the House of David is through your biological father. . 2 Samuel 7:12 When your (David Dawud) days are fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I (God) will set up your seed after you, that shall proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. Note 1. The biological seed God set up after messiah David is messiah Solomon meaning the throne of David is through the children who descend from messiah David and the seed where God said “I (God) will set up your seed after you” which is messiah Solomon because Solomon is the seed after David who God set up as the seed after David on the throne of David as promised in 2 Samuel 7:12-.2 Samuel 7:13. . 2 Samuel 7:13 He (Solomon Sulaiman) shall build a house (the First Temple) for My name, and I will establish the throne of his (Solomon’s Sulaiman’s) kingdom for ever. Note 1. The promise that will never be cancelled in Psalm 132:11-132:12 given to the biological descendants of messiah (anointed) King David Dawud that is passed to his seed that God set up in 2 Samuel 7:12 is forever in 2 Samuel 7:13 meaning biological descendants to the throne of messiah David Dawud through messiah Solomon Sulaiman which God set up is a promise that will be honoured by God forever meaning God will never change this promise. . 2 Samuel 7:14 I (God) will be to him (the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman) for a father, and he (the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman) shall be to Me (God) for a son; if he (the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman) commit wrongdoing, I (God) will punish him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men; . Note 1. The messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman is the son of God means the servant of God. Note 2. God will be his father and the messiah anointed King Solomon Sulaiman will be His son meaning God's servant. Note 3. If the messiah does wrong then God will punish him like a father punishes his son. Note 4. The messiah anointed King David Dawud is the son of God means the servant of God. Note 5. God will be his father and the messiah anointed King David Dawud will be His son meaning God's servant. Note 6. If the messiah does wrong then God will punish him like a father punishes his son. Note 7. Every messiah is the son of God meaning the servant of God. Note 8. God will be his father and the messiah will be His son meaning God's servant. Note 9. A] The mashiach of hebrew scripture will be a PATERNAL (not maternal) descendant of David (Isaiah 11 verse 1&10, Jeremiah 33 verse 15-18, Ezekiel 34 verses 23&24, Ezekiel 37 verse 24&25, Amos 9 verses 11&12, Hoseah 3 verse 5, 2Samuel 7 verse 16, Psalms 89 verses 4&5, Psalm 89 verses 34-38, Psalms 18 verse 51, Jeremiah 33 verses 20-26). *Genealogy in the Bible is only passed down from father to son, (Numbers 1:1-18).* Not having a biological father from the direct family tree (isaiah 11:1) of Jesse and David disqualifies a person from any claim of being the mashiach of hebrew scripture. B] The mashiach of hebrew scriptures brings the Jewish people from all over the world-wide exiles back to the land of israel (isaiah 11 verses 11&12, ezekiel 37 verses 24&25, deuteronomy 30 verse 3, jeremiah 30 verse 3, jeremiah 32 verse 37, ezekiel 11 verse 17, ezekiel 36 verse 24, Ezekiel 20 verses 41&42). In the time of jesus the jews were in the land, he did not help them conquer their enemies as mashiach is supposed to (numbers 24 verses 17-19) and were exiled from israel shortly after, the total opposite of what the prophets revealed the true mashiach will do. C] The mashiach of hebrew scriptures ushers in a utopian world of peace, where there will no longer be any wars (Zechariah 9 verse 10 [ps. Note, verse 10 is a direct continuation of verse 9 which christians claim was already fulfilled...yet he didn't fulfill the verse that it goes right into, verse 10?...], Isaiah 2 verses 1-4, Micha 4 verses 1-4, Hoseah 2 verse 20, Isaiah 60 verse 18). jesus did not bring world peace, the opposite is true, how much unnecessary loss came through the crusades and the likes all in the name of jesus. D] The mashiach of hebrew scripture brings the entire jewish nation back to full observance of the Torah (Ezekiel 37 verse 24, all the same time periods of Ezekiel 11 verses 19&20, ezekiel 36 verses 26&27, Deut 30 verses 8&10, Jeremiah 31 verse 32). jesus in the NT disobeys the temple authorities in violation of Deut 17 verses 10-13, he and his men pluck wheat stalks on the shabbat day, a violation of shabbat (numbers 15 verses 32-36), he claims that divorce isn't allowed and that it is forbidden to marry after divorce, while the torah says otherwise, thus adding and/or subtracting from the Torah's laws (Deut 4:2, deut 13:1), he gives prophecies that didn't come true, such as "not one stone of this temple will be left ontop of another" and yet the western outer wall stands tall and deep into the temple mount till today [and yes theres archeological proof that it is infact the western outer wall of the temple], he said more than once "none of this generation shall taste death before you see the full kingdom come" did not happen, giving a failed prophecy according to the torah makes him a false prophet and viable to the D penalty (Deut 18 verses 20-22), and jesus def did not cause for Jewish people to embrace the torah, instead he caused a major rift and didn't observe the laws himself. E] Mashiach of Hebrew scripture emerges at a time where there is universal knowledge of God (Isaiah 11 verse 9, which is a parallel to chavakuk 2 verse 14, Zechariah 8 verses 20-23, zechariah 14 verse 9 & verse 16, Isaiah 66 verse 23, isaiah 45 verse 23, ezekiel 38 verse 23, zephanya 3:9). The amount of statues there are of jesus and mary, oh boy, how the negligence of one pompous man caused for a third of the worlds population into all diff forms of polytheism and idolatry... F] Mashiach of hebrew scripture reigns leader at a time when the 3rd ever lasting temple is standing forever (Ezekiel 37 verses 24-28 which is the same exact end of days temple of Isaiah 2, of zechariah 14 verses 20&21, of Malachi 3 verse 4, of Isaiah 56 verse 7, of Isaiah 60 verse 7, of Isaiah 66 verse 20, Ezekiel 20 verse 40) where the mashiach himself prepares flour and animal offerings at its inaguration (Ezekiel 45 verse 17, the same exact prince/נשיא of Ezekiel 37 verse 25). The way God made sure no jew can ever make a claim of illegitimacy against a Jewish king was by commanding a prophet to anoint that king with the sacred anointing oil (exodus 30 verses 25-30) as He commanded Samuel to do to Saul (1samuel 10 verse 1), and to David (1samuel 16 verse 13), and as Tzadok the High priest and nathan the prophet did to King Solomon (1kings 1 verse 34). The mashiach is called "mashiach" (literally "anointed") because Elijah the prophet is supposed to anoint him with the sacred anointing oil as King over the Jewish people. God, who will split the ocean in order to convince when He wishes to convince, has NO PROBLEM making the jewish people believe someone is or isnt their next king, He did so for Saul, David, Solomon, the priests, all to remove any claim of illegitimacy by any jew. The Creator DID NOT DO SUCH for the christian man-diety, something so simple, and no. The jews did not "reject" jesus, the Creator did. That's the truth.

According to Tovia S. Jesus is false prophet: I think you should know that only God knows the future, He warned people how to recognize false prophet from the true one. It is clear in Deuteronomy 18:20-22 "20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’- 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him". In New Testament are prophesies which are from Old one to PROVE that God inspired His apostles (Jews) to write that promise of God came to pass in their life time. (about 2000 years ago) Now read what Jesus predicted: Matthew 24:1-2 "Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Is not the truth that Jewish Temple was completely destroyed??? More predyctions which came to pass and another ones are fulfilling in front of our eyes and more yet to come ! See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. v. 11-12 "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold...... v. 23-25 " “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do Not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. When the Creator in His own scripture says "I am not a human" (Hoseah 11 verse 9) & that He doesn't change (Malachi 3 verse 6), when He claims the Jewish people are His witnesses that "no god came before Me and none after Me" (isaiah 43 verses 10&11) and commanded them "have no other god but Me", when He says "no man can see Me and live" (exodus 33 verse 20), when He tells us that He has no ascribeable form (isaiah 40 verse 18), when He warned an entire nation [who experienced a level of prophecy called "face to face" Deuteronomy 5 verse 4] that they should be so extremely careful and never forget that they saw NO IMAGE lest they ever G forbid attribute any image to Him whether male or female (Deuteronomy 4 verses 12-16), that God showed them all those miracles so that they know that there will never be any else (Deuteronomy 4 verse 35), when God says in His own Torah that it is forbidden to even mention on ones lips the names of gods other than His (exodus 23 verse 13), when He continously defined "idolatry" as a worship that "nor you nor your forefathers knew of" (Deuteronomy 11 verses 26-28, Deuteronomy 13 verse 6, Jeremiah 44 verses 1-5), when scripture says God is too unfathomable/lofty to ever dwell on earth (1st Kings 8:27), christians aren't aware of what true monotheism is, there is no faculty of imagination when standing before the Omnipresent/the One in charge of every milimeter of existence. Once you taste true monotheism, you understand how off in comparison the christian faith is with any claim of being "monotheists".

Those scriptures are all true for sure but there is more to know. If several blind men who have never seen before are asked to feel different parts of an elephant, they will give you a different answer and one that they are convinced is true. One says, an elephant is like a snake (feeling the tail only). One says, an elephant is round and thick (feeling the foot of the beast), and so on. Without taking in everything there is to know, the picture is limited in scope. For me, my understanding of God is different and based on scripture but also what I have learned about people as a therapist. And when I "feel the elephant" I see the reality of the theory of Attachment showing up all over the place including in the biblical formulation of God as being a Being with 3 minds (even God is relational with Himself). When He says, Let us make esh in OUR image, he means, let Us make him relational, as WE are relational. The more you see this, the more you will see...

I'm not Christian, but I do have questions, and you may have an answer. I Genesis, God said something like 'let US make man in our image' which doesn't specifically me we look like god, but it does suggest that there is a form to God. Also, it is described that Adam was created in his likeness, and Adam had a son in his likeness. I have always had a hard time understanding who "us" (Elohim) refers to. Likeness or image may be referring the consciousness we hold where we can create in our minds a thing which we can then bring into existence. Genesis, Numbers, etc reference other god's, then the references stop. How does monotheism work when the first few books of the bible are filled with numerous pluralities?
@Yehonatan613

@@CuttinInIdaho On the most simple level: The full verse continues to say "and he will rule over all the animals etc" ie: just as the single God rules over all the angels and forces, in that same parallel/image/likeness so too will man rule over all the forces on earth, in that parallel, that's why the verse clarifies in what way, and the next verse says ויברא which is in the absolute singular, only one with no plurality did any creating, it doesn't say ויבראו which would be plural. Who is God speaking with in Zecharia 3 verse 4 & Job chapter 1? The verses say outright that God speaks to His heavenly angelic courts before doing things. The same is so in Genesis 1. Man is the pinacle of creation, the last creation of the 6 days of creation, the most unique of all creations. Before creating man (in which all else was created for), God spoke to His angelic court and to all physical material that He created till that point before making man, WHY? Because man is an all encompassing creation, created with all the elements of the physical (that were created in the previous 6 days) *+ God took partnership with the physical elements in creating man as it says "and God blew into his nostrils a living soul" Genesis 2 verse 7, hence "let us", God and ALL that was created prior to the creation of man.* Since He made man unique from all other creation in that human's alone have two opposites, *physicality, in the likeness of animals via his body, and a divine spiritual soul in the likeness of the angels, ie: man is all encompassing.* Hence "let us make man". There is much more depth to the true meaning of "in the likeness of the name Elohim", but not neccessary to go there. The Creator says "...and there are no gods with Me" Deuteronomy 32 verse 39.
@Yehonatan613
@Yehonatan613 11 ай бұрын
@@CuttinInIdaho the word Elohim is the letters El-hem אל-הם and it means "the One with Authority/Control/Power over other forces" (the word Hem "הם" means "them"). And so, in default lingo, these terms are used for God because He is the One with total authority & power over everything He made and in total charge over all forces. But in biblical hebrew, it is also used for any being in a position of authority/control/power over others, like where God told Moses that he would make him a "elohim to pharo" (exodus 7:1) and it is because the word Elohim means "One with control/authority over another force/forces", and God made Moses exactly that over Pharo, total control/authority/rulership over pharo, *it doesn't mean that God made Moses into a plurality to Pharo* . And thats why we find very often in scripture that Elohim refers to angels too (like in Job chapter one) because God made angels in charge of all the forces and beings that that particular angel was given authority/charge over, and has permission to have control over the domain they were given authority over etc. By default these nicknames are used for God because He is the ultimate Force in total control over all other forces, hence Elohim, *He is the 1st Being and all other created beings exist only because He wills their existence and so He is in total control and has total authority over all that He created/over all other created forces,* same with the nickname El, because God is the all powerul and able, the One in which all is solely in His hands, but all these names are nicknames, not the actual Name that He is known by in the Torah, the 4 letter Name YHVH, which is solely referring to Him. Thats why the verse says "and someone who sacrafices [to the name] Elohim, its a sin, rather only to [the name] YHVH alone" exodus 22:19, because if someone sacrafices to the name Elohim it can be mistaken for the Angels or to a force other than just Him, God forbid (and that is idolatry), rather only to the Name that cannot be mistaken for anyone other than God Himself, the Name for the Eternal Whom is giving constant existence to all that is, shem Havayah.

The most compelling case for me is the flood story and its close alignment with the epic of Gilgamesh. The story is followed “point by point and in the same order”. In the epic, the god Ea warns Utnapishtim of a great flood and told Utnapishtim to build a boat in order to save all the living things. Just like Noah, he builds the boat, puts all the living things and his family on it, experiences a storm, and after it was all over, he offers a sacrifice to God. Flood stories have been found in many texts which predate the Bible. It’s found in the epic of Ziusudra and the epic of Atrahasis (which is nearly identical to the epic of Gilgamesh). In Hindu mythology, texts like the Satapatha Brahmana mentions a great flood, in which Vishnu advises Manu to build a giant boat. I'd genuinely be interested in hearing how this could be a mere coincidence?

It seems to me that "I AM" is being misconstrued as somehow a separate person vs. ALL THAT EXISTS. If God is all that exists, then doesn't it follow that He has all the knowledge, all the power, etc? The true message is we are all part of the whole. Goodness is living accordingly as part of the whole. Evil is putting your desires above all else, separation from the whole.

The Torah explaines it this way. Man fell because he was given the abilty to think about God and what he saw around him. The snake says to Eve, Hey, you know that if you take the information of God you can think purely for yoursel and create within your mind like God. So mankind could think with God which is good and think for himself which is translated as evil or self. Being without God is death. God needed Adam and Eve to look at God durring the day and think and dwell on what they had seen at night. Symbolized by the reflection of the moon. Deutoronomy says that you have a choice. God says that if you think with God you will prosper. If you go down the other path, you will create things that will curse you. Your actions from your thoughts will affect the generations to come. This why when the Isrealites thought badly, it affected them by showing desease and were placed outside the camp until healed and cleansed. When an Isrealite looted a city and then faught the next enemy, Isreal lost the battle. This is because he had sought value in tawdry objects of desire rather than desiring to be part of God's mind. After ww1, the allied powers argued about how to punish Germany. American president wanted to be conciliatory but France wanted to revenge. The president of America caught the flue and did not have the strength of will to stop the decisions made by the victors. Germany was punished to the point where they decided to follow a mentally unstable man called Hitler because the people had nothing but misery. What if they had all realised that everyone had lost and decided to build a better world. Maybe Hitler would have been seen for what he was and seen as a damaged product of the war.

If I had a Time Machine and knew a person’s future and then came back to the present, does my knowledge of the future mean I control a person’s actions? No. God has knowledge of everything but humans are still allowed to have free will which is given by God. This has been debated within the church since the beginning of Christianity. Erasmus believed in God’s all powerful knowledge without God controlling every person’s actions. - From Wikipedia about Erasmus; *”Erasmus however argued that foreknowledge did not equal predestination. Instead, Erasmus compared God to an astronomer who knows that a solar eclipse is going to occur. The astronomer's foreknowledge does nothing to cause the eclipse-rather his knowledge of what is to come proceeds from an intimate familiarity with the workings of the cosmos. Erasmus held that, as the creator of both the cosmos and mankind, God was so intimately familiar with his creations that he was capable of perfectly predicting events which were to come, even if they were contrary to God's explicit will.”*

Lucifer and Satan were detained in 30 AD, just after Pentecost, and were judged by the Ancients of Days far from Earth, in 1985. The devil and dragon -- Revelation 12: 12-13 -- remain on Earth. Their judgement is set for 10/12/26 -- one heavenly hour after Lucifer refused mercy. They intend to prove Mankind unfit for God's kingdom with a worldwide war, and thereby, to absolve themselves of blame. "After all," the devil argues, "Jesus, HIMSELF, tried to teach these beasts to love one another, 1,993 years ago - almost two full days in Heaven. Surely, the Ancient of Days will judge Man at fault. Or Jesus. Not Me." 2 Peter 3: 8 Matthew 5: 44-48. Free will is granted to all people. If one desires to turn to the path of good and be righteous, the choice is his. Should he desire to turn to the path of iniquity, the choice is his. This is the intent of the Torah's statement: "Behold, man has become like the Unique One among us, knowing good and bad." (Genesis 3:22) This teaches that humankind was made singular in the world, in that a person can, on his own initiative, objectively think about and know what is good and what is bad, and then choose to act according to his own will.

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 ah, ok, it's involved in the traditional understanding of Genesis 3:22. According to _our_ understanding, however, it's involved in what God gave Adam immediately when creating him, it's involved in our understanding of Genesis 1:26. In Genesis 3, Adam and Eve did not get more free will, but less of it. But either way, Catholic or Noahid, Tovia's words "in the Torah" would not refer to the bare text, but to the traditional understanding of it. This is presumably also the case for many of the Early Church Fathers who state they scrutinise the "Scriptures" and it's really a traditional understanding of them. A good point to recall against Protestants who would like to use Early Church Fathers in "traditional" support of Sola Scriptura. The courses of Abiah and the altar of incense just came up between me and the video I'm watching, and he thinks, when St. John Chrysostom refers to Scripture, he really refers to a traditional understanding of it (like John the Baptist being conceived within few days from Yom Kippur).

That's not necessarily so, and has not been my experience. I was an Evangelical Christian and then a 'Messianic' Christian (for a total of 40+ years), and I started off at an Orthodox Jewish Synagogue, where I was welcomed with open arms when they learned that I and my family were interested in conversion. We started taking classes on Judaism and Jewish Thought, taught by Orthodox Rabbis, at our local Jewish Community Center (even while we were still 'Messianic' Christians!) and the more we learned from the Rabbis, the more we learned how false, and pagan ANY form of Christianity really is. From there, we went on to convert, since nobody mentioned the Noahide movement to us at that time, maybe because there were no Noahide organizations where we were, but that's no longer the case in many places. Also, please note that some Rabbis would rather that Noahides learn and worship in the Orthodox Jewish community, since some Noahide leaders are not qualified to teach Tanach. Anyways, your first step should be to consult with an Orthodox Rabbi, or a Chabad Rabbi, who can advise you on how to proceed in living as a Noahide. May Hashem bless and guide you and give you much wisdom and strength on your spiritual journey!!

The authenticity of Moses is based on the public revelation at Sinai: God revealed Himself to the entire nation of Israel, at least three million people, and proclaimed before them the Ten Commandments. The entire Jewish people personally experienced that revelation, each individual in effect becoming a prophet, and each one verifying the experience of the other. With their own eyes they saw, and with their own ears they heard, as the Divine voice spoke to them, and also they heard God saying, "Moses, Moses, go tell them the following ..." They did not receive the occurrence of that event and accept it as some claim or tradition of an individual, but they experienced it themselves. That public revelation, therefore, authenticated the bona fide status of Moses as a prophet of God, and the Divine origin of the instructions he recorded in the Torah. That, and that alone, is the criterion for the belief in, and acceptance of, Moses and his teachings.
