Sure Israel could build its own weapons, but because of the strings attached to the American military aid package, that money can't be used to pay for any home-grown Israeli weapons. Therefore, Israel would have a military budget blowout if they wanted to go down that road. Where would the money come from? America is lining its own pockets with this deal, as every dollar they spend in military aid (both to Ukraine and Israel) goes into the coffers of American military contractors.

Bibi is not a chicken. He’s in an impossible situation that few could comprehend. Pollard could be an excellent head of state theoretically speaking, but he has epic baggage that would probably make such a thing impossible under present circumstances. I agree with the other commenter that he should take on an advisory role. But don’t think for a second that isn’t already effectively serving this role. He still has many friends in high places and this podcast serves an advisory purpose. He could potentially get into politics more directly in the future, but that would require a different political landscape than the present one.

Wrong. It is 2 million Muslims in Gaza, 2 million in West Bank, 2 million inside Israel proper. That's 6 million Muslims. While inside Israel there are over 7 million Jews. As to the 100 million+ Muslims around Israel and around the globe, they do not have the capacity to launch Expeditionary assaults and will be intercepted, en mass, if they try. Plus they have huge disagreements and mistrust between them, especially the 1400 year Sunni-Shia religious feud; and many groups of Muslims are at war, or near war, with each other for many different serious reasons, e.g. Sudan and Egypt over the Nile water rights.
