I have the SCX6 Honcho, I want the SCX6 Jeep soon, I love Star Wars! My Honcho stayed in my bedroom until the weather was right to run it (Nevada heat is horrid), sleepover every night lol. now it stays in the car (without batteries, those stay in my bag) for those "ooh I have to climb that" and "ohh I have not been there in a long time" moments. Brother you have my heart!

That is a good solution. I wonder how well it would work in the smaller trucks

It works great on that scale too, no foam to break down and they drain our water perfectly!

Like all that squees. But I just like to ride with seales rims..water and sand are only causin damage and inbalance. And not a fan of taking my beadlocks apart everytime i pass a puddle. And even dry sand and dust cause damage.

Yeah I agree dude, it's a pain. I tend to seal mine too, but didn't with this beast and enjoyed the juices 🤣

Where’s that antenna from? Pretty cool

Is that just the stock body with different fenders and paint on the grill? Where did you get the antenna on the back?
@disciplinerc2 жыл бұрын
Yep stock. Used permanent vinyl and paint for the roof. The fenders are 3d printed upsized from an SCX10.3 and the antenna is from something back in the day, I can't recall 🤣

Need a link for the fender delete kit plzzzz
@disciplinerc Жыл бұрын
You can get metal ones off Amazon pretty easily now. I 3d printed these ones when there weren't any parts really out there for it, so that's an option too 👍

That thing's a beast. Tempted to get me some crawler action, maybe just a cheapish 1/10 rig like an Absima Khamba.
@disciplinerc2 жыл бұрын
It is a total beast, almost too much so. If you get tempted, just remember you need the terrain for it and also a place to store it. It takes up alot of room...alot 😅
@WoodsUnknown2 жыл бұрын
I was wondering how good those wood be, they would be awesome in a rock crawling event. I sealed the vent holes on mine first day i got it and have had zero water but they act more like a tire with air in them. Awesome video Rc brother. Also a Star wars fan.

@@disciplinerc I’m debating on picking up a SCX6 tomorrow. I mean, looking for something different but money is money and would like to prevent a big disappointment so I looked up youtube. Looks like longer term reviews about the SCX6 are really mixed huh?
@disciplinerc2 жыл бұрын
@@WasNiksIsNiksWordtNiks well the only thing I can say, is its 'YUGE'! Takes alot of space to store and run. I do t know anyone else who has one, so crawling that large of terrain required is a solo affair.

@@disciplinerc Got a Super Baja Rey 2.0, can’t be much bigger than that huh? But yeah, we don’t have much rock here in the Netherland so all we do is riding obstacles and trial rides. Everybody is using their 1/10 (ish) rigs though it might be weird to go and do the same routes.
