In order to invert the helicopter it needs to be in total manual mode, fly to at least 15 meters, activate the inverted switch and move the right stick in the direction you want to flip to.

If this is your first RC flight, there are better learning based models. Check out the WLtoys helicopters and the Volantex warbird Rc planes both very durable with flight modes for beginner intermediate and advanced, plus replacement parts are easy to find and dirt cheap. You seem like a natural pilot so please stick with it. RC aviation can be very rewarding and fun.

I have the Huey, arrived yesterday. I noticed when first installing the battery it can move forward easy, maybe breaking connection, first flight it dropped out of the air into a hedge at 2 bars on the battery at the exact same time the controller started to beep, I thought it must have been crappy AAs in the controller, but once replaced with a completely new set- different packet purchased last week, it still beeped and didnt want to fly, second battery it was all good.. but I guess its either the battery vibrating forward or flight time is really 8 min even and a slow crawl around my front yard.

Thank you for your videos! They are great. I learned to fly many years ago and they didn't have all the assist capabilities of the latest helis. Helis are just fragile by their very nature and you need to practice fundamentals without all that assist. The first thing you need to learn to do is hover and land. All the assist you get with that heli stunts your growth and your ability to actually fly. Once you learn to actually hover and land you should proceed in flying in figure-8s around you so you get used to the controls with the heli going away from you and coming towards you. One of the biggest things with line of sight flying is training your mind to adjust the stick inputs depending on the orientation of the heli. I would pick-up something with a carbon-fiber tail instead of that flimsy foam. You will also want to be able to have main blades that can have it's pivot points easily popped back in when you crash. That helis beautiful but can't take a crash. One of the Blade skill level 1 RTF helis would be much better option if you want to really learn to fly. They are designed to take more of a beating and be snapped back in most cases during most crashes. I believe that initial crash was caused by the wind pushing you down while you were at a pretty low altitude. That crash I believe impacted your gyro and it just got progressively worse. It may have also been lose or vibrating after that crash which would have made it less stable and predictable.
@GSG-lc5zm14 сағат бұрын
I agree.. I learned before all the assist stuff infact some of the first ones I flew didn't even have gyros .. but after I got stable and figured out where ground effect/rotor wash came into play.. I could chase my cat UNDER the dinner table (with the micron) 🤣😂
@wingtang118011 сағат бұрын
I wish they just issue pod and boom versions of these. Without the stupid toy looking body they fly much better and can take slower speed crashes very well.
@disciplinerc7 сағат бұрын
Wow dude, thank you so much for that explanation. It makes sense how it got progressively worse. I appreciate the tips on what to get and how to practice. I'll have to look further into a proper carbon tail like you suggested. What size would you recommend? Some people have also mentioned sims to practice on, any you can recommend on rainy days? 😁👌

Your Airframe & Powerplant certificate , in the mail . ( I know ppl ) & more attn after meeting ground ,your day is over. PERIOD Hello ground lol don't be them others that crash & tries to take up again with horrible catastrophic results for contents , then laugh . These not bashers , Gentleman's, they are fragile in every aspect . An insight to future Flyers, buy something with parts avail & back @ it again. Sorry about the mishap my winged brother & toggle off that obstacle Avoidance mierda , it's asking for trouble anything below 1 Meter, it freaks out big time lol Good job on repairs & happy Añejo Monday 🥃🥴 Salud ¡!

Cheers man, good tip. I'll be more gentle with the next one. Before the last crash, the thing was out of my control. Flew backward at full speed, wouldn't auto land and then flew forward full tilt into the ground. Really unsure why it became unresponsive, but I assume it was due to the impacts previously. Next go around I'll be more cautious and call it a day if I wreck 😕

At the very least thankfully you are learning with a helicopter that size had it been a much larger one you would have got yourself hurt or broken a lot more parts which would've been terrible all around Aaron. Have you ever considered getting yourself a simulator like Realflight Evolution? They are very helpful to learn whether you are dealing with planes or helicopters?
