We have 6 VW ID3’s as staff pool car on our Data Centre project in Dublin and all staff love them albeit with a handful of niggles that VW group seem to be ignoring. The haptic buttons on the wheel and below the touchscreen drive the team mad. Bev’s all feel similar to an extent, at least in terms of power delivery in city driving. As a result, I think styling (more so than drivetrain) now has a larger impact than ever (at least since the 50’s) in terms of a car’s identity and what make it unique. Having said that, I think Seat has the superior product compared to VW’s id3, entirely as a result of styling.
