Subhan Allah I say Mufti Menk is a good man. From what I heard in his videos so far, not only is he wise but also very much moderate in a lot of ways. Would I dare even say he could reform Islam? That might be a reach but who knows. I have always thought Islam has a PR issue and Mufti Menk Inshallah is someone it needs right now.

Alhamdullilah ❤I converted Islam at the age of 31 when I took my shahada I am the same as a new born baby with a pured heart. My heart is filled of joy in i cried because I felt contented with this age my life is a dark when I embrace my life become light trough the right path. As a revert myself, I feel we need those softer like Mufti Menk to help integrate us gently. When you are new and shaky in anything, it is greatly discouraging to have someone strict over you contantly telling you what you are doing wrong. I must admit that before i'm really afraid of hearing preaching because most often the imam or the ustadz will try to convince in a scary manner as if like condemning. I feel so ashamed, guilty and hopeless. But ALHAMDULILLAH! it change a lot when i watched Mufti Menk's videos. Because of his reminders My fears are gone and most of all he made me believe in the Mercy of ALLAH that he can forgive someone like me.
