Just FYI the roof of the Discovery 1 is steel so you could lose some weight from up high. Lots of heavy glass so plastic... D2 is lots more steel parts. Most D1 panels are alloy. 100" wheelbase for both D1 & D2. For D1 rear flex is constrained by the standard shocks. You can get quite a lot from the rear with slightly longer shocks but the standard coils drop out of the mounts - dislocation cones how it's done over here. Check out the Camel Cut for the rear wings (sorry USA fenders) Front flex is not great as the arms restrict. Best ones I've seen do a 3 link front. Hope this helps.

Maybe build a CJ? You never see those anymore and they are pretty much a factory buggy like a mustang is a factory race car. No doors or top to mess with and about 5 wires in the whole thing. You can also ditch the windshield and save a bunch of top wheight. Whatever you build, my money is on you man.

I think a single cab short bed second or third gen ranger would be a really cool rig to build, or a WD-21, or r50 Pathfinder, or even a WD22 Xterra or d22 frontier. Even a D21 hardbody

Yes, Matt's off road games need a rock crawling event. Love to see Jaymie, Katelynn, Colt, Trailmater, Rad, Fabrat and maybe a few other do something together. Something smaller like the Wreckers game was the first year. More about having fun and showing off for the people. Seeing how well you can work with different people. Show that anyone can do it. We know Katelynn is crazy and Jaymie can drive and trust her spotters. Like the older video of Matt, Trailmater and FabFat.

I’d love to have a set of 31’s or 32’s for my 1990 Toyota… as a volunteer firefighter here n a hard hit part of North Carolina and my tires just aren’t rough enough.. and some places I’d love to try some m/t O2’s.. or some tsl swampers 🤷‍♂️. We get paid with a thanks.. but it’s great to help people! Just wish I had a more capable set up🤷‍♂️. Maybe one day it can get all 4 link suspension and on dodge 3/4 or 1 tons..🤷‍♂️ but I can’t afford any of it🙃😔
