Is this illegal? Homemade remote controlled BB gun/Airsoft gun frame build and test

I'm building a frame and trigger system for a bb gun to make it remote controlled, great idea for a bunker and for airsoft wars or paintball wars. just a fun toy that has a lot of potential. Apocalypse survival tool.
