Well done Nick - I love the details you outline for maintenance on the sweeper.

so every time you turn the sweeper , you are essentially tearing up a gear or sliding a wheel... no differential slip between solid axles drives?
@nicksatrangequipment14 күн бұрын
@@Vigilant_Guardian I probably did not describe that very well, but no, it does allow the wheels to turn at different speeds when turning. The gear really only gets stripped when you are trying to go too fast or run the sweeper too low so there is additional pressure on the gear. I bought mine used and something is bent so the metal gear does not sync with the plastic gear 100% which also causes more wear.

Hey Nick, do you know if there’s a sweeper with pneumatic tires and a heavier gear drive ?
@nicksatrangequipment2 ай бұрын
@@thomasulmschneider3603 Hey, there is a really crazy one made by @sweepall that has its own motor and pneumatic tires. It is a really heavy duty unit. A channel I follow @suburbanacreage posted that they got one and will be doing videos on it soon. I could not find anything else with pneumatic tires. Most are just variations of the Agri-Fab type.

I thought those mentions would link to the channels, but they didn't. Sweep All - youtube.com/@sweepall?si=-v1Fk8u2YedqlkpP
