I have the same Toro 60v and love it but only use it once monthly when I deep rake to pull up dead grass and leaves so that I can vacuum with it and bring it to a height a half inch higher than my reel mower cuts which I follow up with the next day. You’ll find that you’ll like your reel’s results better. I purchased a HudsonStar reel mower which is a manual reel mower made for putting greens, lawn tennis courts, cricket fields etc... In that I live in Florida and our soil is comprised largely of sand I found that the wheels on conventional reel movers often pushed the loosely packed soil around but the chain driven designs of manual court mowers driven by their back rollers avoids that and the shape of the Mac he’s base lends itself to stability and a level cut. Since you’ve invested time in top dressing I thought you might consider one. 2XL. Great info, I am 13 days in on a 70/30 PR/ KGB Reno (coverage not weight). Wondering if I should cut the PR, with the KGB in the early stages. I bit concerned about stopping all over the KGB. My manual reel mower is being delivered this weekend. Good to know about the fungicide, I have some propicanozole I can put down. I was also wondering about fungus with all the water.
