Did you consider Eleanora’s Falcon as a keep? Rodent in the feeder and rodentologist bonus would likely have led me to keep that instead of the Loon. Admittedly the wild food is nice when you’re a bit forest light -

No, looks like I had a blind spot there. At first I had it in my mind that I was going to take Bird Bander. Once I talked myself into Rodentologist I should have reconsidered the Falcon. The Loon's extra card drawing potential was on my mind here.
