I know that this is old but X's level of genius is incredible. He knew that Look At Me was the song that made him blow up and that it had more attention than anything else he'd made at that point. He used that to get people's attention to what really mattered - the Riot video. For someone so young yet so talented in a way we haven't seen before nor since, it blows my mind. He really was what our generation needed. I honestly wish things had gone a different route and he could've finished his work. The saddest part about this genius is that people didn't see how important he was until after his passing, myself (admittedly) being one of them. I was always a fan and always saw him as a legend, I always saw him of a man of importance, but of such importance I did not realize. I always saw him as someone who made music that I identified with, as someone who made video content that made my day, and someone who tried so desperately to be a better version of himself despite his flaws and faults. I can't ever forget about X. Long live a real legend. You can't ever have another XxxTentacion. Rest in Paradise

The messeges are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the lyrics will go over a typical viewers head. There's also King So's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these lyrics , to realise that they're not just lyrics- they say something deep about LIFE. By far X is one of the hardest hitting deaths because almost every piece he had, there was a deeper message behind it and was an intelligent and aspiring guy who wanted the youth to make a better future for us. Im still upset to this day about his passing and wish I would’ve met him

my personal take on the kid being hung was a message to black people.
