Is This Really Jakarta's "Best" Nasi Goreng??? | Australian vs Indonesian Street Food | Jalan Sabang

I was told this was the best nasi goreng in Jakarta - but is it really?? My boyfriend ‪@RichardDGilisOfficial‬ took me to Jalan Sabang close to where he used to live to try the local Indonesian street food.

Nasi Goreng called as Indonesian national dish but you have to try others Indonesian food like Soto and Soto have many kind of style base on region or province, you also have try, Rawon, Ayam Taliwang, Pempek (fishcakes), Tongseng, Ketupat Sayur (Padang), Ketoprak, Satay (Ayam, Kambing, Sapi/Maranggi, Bali), pepes, Coto Makassar (Makassar soup), Sop Konro (beef ribs soup), Nasi Padang, Woku (Manado soup curry), Nasi Gule Solo (organ stew), Gudeg (stewed jackfruit) etc. :)

Woohoo thanks for the complete list! I think it was pempek we tried in the middle of this video? It was my favourite taste of all of them. Nasi Padang is one of my all time favourites so I would love to try it in Padang one day

Nasi goreng kebon sirih for me is not a good food. If you want to try eat Ox tail soup in borobudur hotel, soto betawi (beef soup), lamb satay (kimtek) on the jln. Panjang, lamb sop(anen) on jln blok A fatmawati. Bakso solo (beef meatball)

Kim Tek menu says beef satay, but it might also have goat (not lamb). Also probably that is goat soup not lamb. What's wrong with that fried rice? Aside from being too expensive? For sure there are cheaper ones that taste fine.
