I feel like we have all heard of how AMAZING Koh is… but is it really? I have wanted to put this popular cleaner to the test and see if it really is all it’s hyped up to be!

Interesting to note that the same thing, a highly diluted solution of dirt cheep potassium hydroxide making it alkaline, is used for cash-grabbing at different places at the same time. In Australia it is, as informed by this excellent and honest review, at least called for what it is - KOH. At other places, it's called things as "Z-water" and the customer is fooled into believeing that any effect it may have is due to "advanced Japanese technology", used in its production. Some 100+ years ago similar alkaline solutions, made from the ash from the wooden stove, were used for cleaning. The detergents developed thereafter was, for sure, appreciated by the housewife (having four kids to attain to while her husband was digging coal).

Koh is actually the chemical formula for the active ingredient. Potassium Hydroxide is also used to make liquid soap when mixed with oils, so the Koh cleaner I find is particularly useful on greasy/oily stuff in the kitchen.

I’m glad you enjoy it! My gripe with it is that it makes up less than 0.5% of the formula with the rest being just water. The Earth Choice cleaner that I use is not only cheaper but I find it more effective as well. If Koh is selling 99.5% water then I feel like I’m wasting my money! Hope that makes sense :)

Hi, I got it, and so glad I did, I watched the koh how to use videos though. There was, an offer on it, so I used that. I could just get the koh liquid 4 litre, using own spray bottle and cloths. I don't add water to it as they say, use dry cloths. I'm so impressed with it.

Earth choice is not low tox. Its a greenwashed range (pretending to be enviornmentally friendly when its not)

I totally agree with you...earth choice range products are actually quite strong, they always make me cough. I just use vinegar and baking soda 😝

If you turn the cloth over the other side which has the scour it will work with no problems

That’s something that I love about the cloth! But for the purpose of this video, I mainly wanted to test the power of the Koh formula :)

I bought a koh spray mop 2 months ago and the trigger is already broken. Turns out theres only a 30 day guarantee and basically no aftercare. No contact us number to call. No videos in youtube on how to fix the trigger. Nothing in the troubleshooting faqs on how to fix it. Its definitely a sham company.

Im always sceptical about these things but I’ve found Koh is great and the only thing I use (except in the toilet). I prefer Koh than spraying chemicals. I think you’ll find most things from cleaning to beauty products are mainly water, unless you are happy to overuse chemicals. Maybe you could compare water with Koh to see if Koh is just water 🤷‍♀️.Earth isn’t as environmentally friendly as you think and not comparable. Most chemical cleaner smell, I don’t like smells, smell doesn’t equal clean. I find Koh works better if you don’t let it dry, I spray and wipe. I find it’s the only thing that cleans my glass splash backs (prefer it to vinegar) not sure why you are getting residue? BTW, if you just want the spray bottle you can get them from Amazon cheaper, they are not exclusively Koh.

Glad that you enjoy it! I’ve come to realise that Earth is greenwashed so I’ve been finding alternatives that are more natural. Thanks for the tip on the atomiser!

Ur very right. I unfortunately purchased the Koh products and the Alya and seen no results tbh. Damnnnn wasted $$$

I feel for you man. I know that Koh does have a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, but it really depends on what you purchased. If the cleaning solution was purchased on its own, I definitely would have returned it. But what I got was part of a bundle and I really do enjoy the cleaning accessories which I don't want to return! It all really depends. I hope you have found a cleaning solution that works well for you though!

You extended about 5 minutes worth of presentation to over 16 minutes - a waste of time! PLUS - water would have performed just as well on the tomato sauce on the tiles and the stove. Why not pick something really difficult to clean like cleaning the oven or shower screen?

Unsure how this is an ad? These products weren't sent to me by Koh and if you watched the whole video I think you would see that it is clearly not an ad. I understand how this may seem sexist but it is merely my take on the marketing industry. Although our society has become more progressive these stereotypes still exist and this is just how I personally view how these products are marketed.
