IS THIS REALLY THE CURRENT BEST TENNIS SHOE? - LOTTO RAPTOR HYPERPULSE 100 SPD

My new shoe and I love it. I have played Speed FF, Gel Resolution 8, Court FF, Nike Zoom Vapour and the Raptor beats them all in my opinion. Most comfortable shoes I ever had on my feet on a tennis court.

This is an amazing shoe. I have this and the Diadora Blushield. If I want to move a little faster, I opt for the Raptor. If I need a little more stability, i wear the Diadora. Great cushion, and my foot feels lows to the ground. Kinda like an ubersonic with cushioning and little more stability. I have tried the FF2 in comparison, and felt this was more comfy in the toe box width and toe cushioning. Also compares to the barricade, this was a more number shoe. The barricades feel heavy and slow to me. Foot doctor Zach has a great tear down of this shoe on KZbin.

Great to see this shoe on the channel. What really stands out from the competition is the Vibram outsole. This is the first time a tennis shoe use a Vibram outsole. And what it is?The Vibram outsoles are best known in the hiking boots and outdoor shoes market. It's a super premium rubber compound made for extraordinary durability and grip. Lotto has made some great improvements in the shoe market with the Mirage 100 being the best seller all around last two years - many pro's played in the shoe including Berrettini for example. But this Raptor is a different breed - super stable, durable and well cushioned. It's a shoe for aggressive baseliners and people who drag shoes and slide. I would love to test them, even though they are super heavy. The comparison to Diadora BluShield shoe is spot on - very similar in terms of stability, durability and cushioning. Good job Lotto and thank you Harry for taking time to test them out. I think it was worth the extra waiting time 😉.

Awesome shoe was wearing Nike’s and dealt with heel pain switched to the Lotto and the pain is gone. This shoe is durable and comfort right out of the box is legit. Similar to the old zoom Vapor line.

40 years ago, my employer imported shoes from Italy. I got a pair of Lotto tennis shoes with incredible comfort and beautiful leather. I hope Lotto carry on the tradition. From your video, it seems they do. Vibram soles and Ortholite insoles convinced me that they are serious. I will definitely try them out next time.

That yellow VIBRAM badge on the sole says it all. There IS proper support for the foot. Have to check if Intersport carries those in Europe.

I just got my pair yesterday. Comfortable right out of the box. They are light and breathable. Even come with an extra pair of laces. More comfortable than the Asic Gel Res. and comparable to the Diadora Blueshield.

I switched to this shoe this year. I have high arches, and had problems with plantars, and pain on the front of my feet. These shoes, along with upstep orthotics have made a big difference. Best shoe and im kn my second pair. Need to buy another for next season

I guess they tuck in the laces for easier and neater handling the shoes into the box. I once used a Lotto Raptor and they are great, came in extra pair of laces too.

I was about buy these in beggining of season but them went for LOTTO MIRRAGE 500.Only issues a had and IT could be case with these as well ,the top fabric worn quite soon out at the front where shoes IS bending the most.It was only top layer worn out ,but lower layer was dark blue and top layer sky blue,so IT looked i have holes in my shoes.They're in bin now. 😀

More respect for the Italian brands in tennis (Lotto, Ellesse, Diadora etc). Maybe they don’t invest in marketing as much as the big names but quality wise there are even better

Best shoe there is. Vibram sole is extremely durable and they don't feel heavy on foot.

they are a bit heavy after lightweight Babolat Jet, but seems to be a perfect shoes. Would like to try them on clay on summertime.

What do you recommend for ppl with wide feet? I really like what I've been reading on the Mizuno Enforce. I usually wear asics wide/extra wide running shoes.

These might still be the best overall tennis shoe. If they're on sale, get a pair. My favorite are the Lotto Mirage 100 but, at the same time, I think the Raptor Hyperpulse is the best shoe for most people.

I had 4 pairs of GP turbo and after they got discontinued I got this one off Zach's recommendation. It doesn't have as much cushion as the GP turbo. But because it has a thicker insole it allowed me to use a high arch superfeet insole with a metatarsal pad to get rid of pain in the ball of my foot. The outsole held up well after 9 months but the upper material is starting to rip: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6S2q4mjmrifl7M Since it'll be raining the next few days I can finally give them a wash ;-) I'll probably get another pair soon unless Nike releases another version of the GP Turbo or I find a pair in size 12. Does anyone have a pair for sale? I got cash in hand 🤣
