Link to feeder: bit.ly/4eUwDZG A note from Reli! "Regarding some of the issues you mentioned in the video, we would like to discuss the following points with you: About the ground stand issue you mentioned: during product development, we increased the thickness of the material for better durability, which made the product heavier but also more durable. We are currently working on upgrading the ground stand, and once the new one is ready, we will send it to you. You will be able to use it with your existing birdhouse and feeder. The accuracy of AI recognition depends on various factors, such as light and the bird’s posture. Therefore, we cannot guarantee 100% recognition accuracy. We are currently improving our algorithm, and future updates will bring a better experience. Regarding notifications, our product uses motion detection, so it sends alerts not only when birds are present but also when there is any movement, such as shaking. We have already reduced the sensitivity of motion detection, and users will be able to update the app for improvements."

That’s a pretty cool feeder‼️ As for the fisheye lens, it would probably be a wide to be able to call Ute the whole width of the feeder rather than just the center with a normal lens.

The Bewicks wren photo is a picture of an Australian species, probably a Superb fairy wren.

Good morning 🌅 to you from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. May I please ask why a bird feeder would require a solar panel ? Is it because the use of solar panel on the bird feeder allows it to charge the auto-cam corder ?
@BadgerlandBirding2 ай бұрын
Yes! The solar power charges the camera, otherwise you would have to take it in every so often, re-charge it, and then put it back out

Thanks for your great reviews of these products. This Reli GreenTough feeder is very nice, but the motion-detection features don’t work at all on my camera. Reli support has been totally non-responsive after two weeks of repeated contacts. Am currently waiting for a response to my request to replace the camera. If it worked as advertised, I would really like the feeder.

Hey! I’m sorry to hear that! Most of the cameras have a reset button. Did you try a total reset on it?

Oh, another thing…..how is your anti-squirrel bird feeder working ? Any success with attracting lots of birds ? Which are the most common birds attracted to that bird feeder ? Have you seen any squirrels trying to get any luck / trying to hop onto the bird feeder?
@BadgerlandBirding2 ай бұрын
The squirrel baffle or one of the "squirrel proof" smart bird feeders? Around our yard we normally get House Sparrows, Black-capped Chickadees, White-breasted Nuthatches, Northern Cardinals, and House Finches as some of the more common species.

Hi Derek it is nice but $279 seems like a lot of money when you can buy a Soliom BF08 Smart Bird Feeder With Camera for $139. Not sure this is worth what they're asking? Also the video quality doesn't look any better than the less expensive unit you reviewed earlier. Soliom is in fact smaller but the video quality is the same I would skip this one.

The nice thing is there are so many options! I'm sure some people really dig the recycled plastic component and the quirky design, but there are so many out there that you can get pretty specific about what things you want over others!
@dab79632 ай бұрын
@@BadgerlandBirding yes options are good. I do like the design and it's large my criticism is I think it's a little overpriced.
