I love card games as main components. But these tiles actually look sweet and seem to be laid out more beautifully on your table. Looks like I might get the new one.

I was very curious about this because I do own Majesty (and enjoy it even though it doesn't come out much anymore). Thank you for the review and comparison! It looks like the coins are not as nice in the new version? The coins in Majesty are marvelous!

I don't have Majesty but this does look interesting. Nice, bit lighter. Could be a filler game that would be fun.

I really wanted to love this one but there's way too much attacking for my taste.

You say that Middel Ages is better balanced. I am of the opposite opinion. After almost 40 games, I think that Middle Ages has a clear starting player advantage. I've won over 80% of the games I've started as the starting player. In terms of game material, Middle Ages has the edge, apart from the money. I love the chips from Majesty.
