....and at that price point I'd expect the entire external and internal surfaces to be PPF'd which of course they won't be. Ceramic coating - does not stop stone chips and road rash. Still, guess if you can afford this RR you'd only have it as a showroom queen of a car. All down to personal taste but I do not like all this embroidery at all for the interior. It's a bit gaudy in my opinion. Far rather have bright orange leather or light blue leather at a far cheaper price point.

As a BMW owner, big fan of BMWBlog, but that embroidery is absolutely awful. It looks like it was taken out a shitty speed boat from the 80s. I have no doubt it was incredibly difficult to do, but the effort doesn't excuse the terrible design. She says, "to create emotion flow, so that starts here with the door embroidery... and you can see how that is perfectly aligned... collectively, across the doors, there is about 600,000 stiches ... harmoniously integrated..." just a sample of all of her marketing nonsense disconnected from reality or anything we can see. I get it. She's trying to justify the cost of this thing, which it doesn't currently _justify_ . I've been with art specialists trying to sell $10-100m paintings and explain why _this_ painting is worth the price. They engage in the same kind of nonsensical verbal exercises. In the world, I'm sure there are far more than 10 people that could easily afford this car and suckered into dropping millions on terrible embroidery. Lastly, "scintilla" doesn't mean "a spark." Or, as she says, " a spark of a specified quality or feeling." Scintilla is defined as "a tiny trace or spark of a specified quality or feeling.". They _say_ this car _represents_ "The Spirit of Ecstasy." However, "Scintilla" would imply that it represents a "tiny trace" of The Spirity of Ecstasy". Clearly, not what they think the word means. I asked AI the following: "If you found that a car was named "scintilla", what would you think that name is meant to convey about the car?" The response, which further establishes how inappropriate this name is: "The name “Scintilla” evokes a sense of something small but incredibly bright and sparkling. It suggests that the car is likely designed to be dynamic, agile, and full of energy. The name implies a vehicle that stands out with its brilliance and performance, possibly with a sleek and stylish design that catches the eye. It might also hint at advanced technology and innovation, making the car feel modern and cutting-edge." Small? Nope Dynamic, agile and full of energy?" Nope Performance? Likely "nope" Sleek? Nope Stylish? TBD Advanced technology? TBD All-in-all, a terrible name choice as well.

@Website_Blogs4 ай бұрын
lmao at nonsensical verbal exercises, you are somewhat right about that one. However as for the spark, it refers to the spark of the creative idea of the conceptualization of the spirit of ecstasy. The name is right, as this car is about celebrating the sprit of ecstasy paying homage to the tiny spark of idea hence the name "scintilla" that brought about it's reality.
@attnielthomas78564 ай бұрын
I as of last week traded my T4R ('23) and got a '24 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness, can drive on the same roads as the Scintilla and a few it probably can't. To each their including the ultra rich that can afford an ultra upscale car that is still a car. As for the "Spirit of Extascy" the real story is of an affair so not so inviting a matter in conversations even less as an opening point [of discussion]. Not the forum but would love to see its mechanicals specifically brakes and underbody. Any upgrades or continuation of the ceramic treatment? Will be misery to clean and maintain all that bright work inside and outside. IMHO, all.

@@bmwblog Maybe because (Wikipedia): "Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited is a British luxury automobile maker that has operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of BMW AG since 2003 - as the exclusive manufacturer of Rolls-Royce-branded motor cars." I don't wholly agree with the original poster, but it's not a nonsensical comment to say that a car made by a subsidiary of the parent company would be equivalent to the vehicles of the parent company.
