Hi Ray, I like Lonesome Pine myself, but I'm not at your level. I use the Tonic App everyday and it does encourage me to practice more, so I can honestly say that it has helped me to become a better Violin player. The other day my roommate actually said "that was pretty good" and he is a HARSH critic! Ha! My Violin teahcer uses a pink rosin that has a bit of glitter in it.

I've had rosin candy before. It was legit sold as candy... but it was made from tree sap, and it chipped/splintered in exactly the same way as the cheap "rosin tacos". It wasn't so good...
