Love going to Oban for Waverley and ferry sails. Good restuarants and hotels overlooking the bay for an evening drink with great sunsets.

Love the video. We visited the Highlands last year and Oban is a highlight of our trip! Beautiful city. ❤

Thanks for this! Best place to self-cater, if it's still available, is the Bayview Apartment above The Gem Box on the Esplanade. Incredible views and the chocolate shop is a 60 second walk away!

The chocolate shop is my favourite in town, great chocolate, coffee and staff 👌🏻

@@coasttocoast23 Another treasure is the Oban Fish & Chip Shop on George St (EE-USK was overpriced and overrated, both food and service - it was a slow night too)

A beautiful white balance.. You can be well proud of this Video .. Everything just jumps into focus. Keep em coming big Lad.🤓💯💯❤🩹. A quick note. I notice you are using the front facing camera lens on your phone. I would suggest you frame the shot this way and then swivel the phone on your gimbal to use the higher resolution rear lens. You can see how having to upscale your front facing camera footage head shot to 4k has caused a wild over sharpening . The usual rear lens would capture at 4k 150k bit rate using THE OPEN CAMERA app.

Thanks fella. Yes, just getting used to filming with the real lens when talking to the camera. On this occasion I decided to forget..

@@coasttocoast23at ❤4k you will be able to move the framing around in post to keep you framed nicely. Also allows for a bit background isolation and blurring mimicking a proper video digital slr vlog camera. 👍 😁. All nice skills to add to the toolkit and get the best out of the vlogs

The driving videos make me sea sick! But thank you for everything else! Highlander offspring from long ago, here. Im sure you've heard it before...but we still feel the connection, generations later in faraway lands. 😢 👍😎🇨🇦🏴

Any chance of you doing a trip around Arisaig / Mallaig? Is there still the little car ferry across to Skye from Mallaig? I remember a tiny café overlooking the water at Arisaig where we had langouistines just landed a couple of hours before 😋😋😋
@coasttocoast2310 ай бұрын
Hi Linda, yes planning on a trip up there in the coming months. Arisaig is on my list. I will make sure it’s a nice day weather wise for filming as Arisaig has some of the nicest beaches I’ve seen😊
