Is This SCP Strategy Game Any Good?

I’ve been waiting for more SCP games outside the survival horror genre. The SCP universe is so expansive and there’s so many opportunities for stories outside of survival horror.

idk, virtually everthing I've read is nightmareish or just plain suffering inducing. maybe you could do a story game as someone from the Foundation, but it would still involve horror elements

@@yoinkling horror is definitely a defining genre of SCP, but it also has strong influences of Scfi, action adventure, mystery, fantasy, and most notably comedy. There’s a lot of opportunity for new stories to be told through games, especially in the FPS, action adventure, and strategy game genres

theres a game called SCP Terminal where u can do tests and simulate breaches. Its abandoned but there is a good amount of content that u can play still. Also there was a game called SCP Site Director which was a SCP Site Building and management game. However, it never got finished and only recieved 2 updates. It has no content. There is a game on Roblox called SCP Architect which is a Site building and management game. It used to be broken but now its fixed. Its playable, and it is still being updated. Still theres room for improvement in that game. Theres more games, like a game where u play as SCP-529, but that game never got finished and has very little content.

I hope so, I love strategy games Edit:holy shit I tried making a scp "board" game (you run a scp foundation, random events would happen, you have a budget, bla bla bla) and while not like this as you were the site commander of one site, you would learn more and more about SCPs, and a story with an O-5 trying to get you to be an O-5. It was only supposed to be me and my friends but then covid hit and I dropped it. I may pick it back up now though

It's still very early on in development, obviously, so it's hard to say much about it. However, I truly think this has the potential to be something amazing. I'm honestly really excited to see what this game turns into! This is exactly the type of SCP game I've been looking for.

Looks functional but not very fun. They definitely need some art depicting SCPs and MTF raids or just different events going on. And I’d be cool if all the different factions in the SCP multicanon had figureheads with conflicting personalities. Basically like civilization but with SCPs lmao

This game is honestly getting better with each update that is released. That said, I would definitely recommend holding off on buying this game for now until more content gets added!

Man this game is really basic, theres a ton of potential though. Id say a better design than pandemic would be to have a crusader kings style dialogue box with choices like amnestize the village, remove the village or fein normality etc. With long running effects. However a better game would be one where compete with other GOIs to give it a real dynamic competitive feeling and give the whole site/region thing an actual purpose. Maybe you have a bunch of extra MTFs and want to raid their south american site to retrieve the anomalies they stored there etc.

Ok which one of you hired a psychic to read my mind on an Evil Genius style SCP game My version would personally be your the overseer of an SCP site and someone of a mashup between prison Architect and rimworld and Evil Genius combined you develop and build a new site containing obscura and famous anomalies alike each one meeting specific cell configurations procedures and equipment to ensure proper containment some of which you will have to learn on the fly as some are newly discovered and there's so new and how to contain properly, and even include sending out agents and mtf alike to contain newly discovered anomalies and possibly even command them in real time around the environment to ensure success Hire scientists, enlist security , agents and mtf, "acquire" D-class And by whatever means necessary *secure contain protect* No matter how cruel they may seem

This is totally something I'd be into when it becomes more developed. I like the idea of being a higher-up in the Foundation and having to do management and investigation and stuff. Like many of the other comments here say, It's a nice difference from all the survival horror SCP games already out there. A strategy game in the SCP setting is something I believe is an obvious choice and I hope this game grows into a realization of that. Speaking of taking on this role, I wonder if we'll get something like X-Com for the SCP universe. Now that's an idea I'd also be hype for.

Man, I get really, really, really, REALLY annoyed when people see South America and jump to the conclusion "it must be Amazon"... I hate it so much I almost unsubscribed the channel. That spot is relatively near to where I live. In a quick look it's Brazil's southwest or Paraguay, maybe Bolivia. Looking in the map, yeah, Brazil, somewhere in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. We are a collection of countries with about half a billion inhabitants, Brazil alone have more cities with 1+ million inhabitants than the US. Forget the frigging forest!
