If you’re cooking them 1 at a time anyway, use a smaller saucepan and allow it to fill to the edges of the pan. You can sneak lil pieces of butter around the edges for the perfect crispy texture.

Hey Chef I watch a lot of your videos and I luv your dishes❤ My sister turned me on to Krusteaz waffle mix which is wonderful---I didn't know they had a pancake mix, I will have to check it out.....I normally go with Bisquick for my pancakes and I add vanilla, lemon juice, and they are just heavenly.....

Looks great. I’m very particular about my pancakes. I don’t care for them If they taste a little sweet or taste like they have vanilla in them (before putting the syrup on top). Lots of restaurants make them kind of sweet like cake. Do these taste like they are sweet or like cake?

Yeah but i do not care for it when it tastes more like a vanilla cake. Then it tastes like cake with syrup on top and thats what i don’t care for. Just asking . I appreciate it. I tell you what i do like is that Southern biscuit mix you recommended. Its so good!

Sausage in oven? Never never heard of that. We fry ours . I use flour,vanilla,egg, water or milk for homemade . Yeah crisp edges
