San Juan is the oldest city in the American continent and the oldest in all the US territories. PR also has the oldest hospital in all the Americas founded in the 1500’s and so many other surprising facts. Continental Americans and should do well to take a stroll every now and again down history lane when it comes to PR. Before there was an US, or a Mexico, or an Argentina or a Brazil or a Colombia, there was PR. And this is not just boasting, this is cold hard fact. Not to mention one the biggest culture in the Americas, but for the sake of humility, I’ll leave it at that. Anyway, it was nice to see y’all enjoying our country.

@@guajon1 PR has the oldest hospital in all the Americas, the first consecrated cathedral in the Americas, the first written novel in the Americas is about a PR’can pirate, the first Knight in the Americas in a mulato PR’can and richest in all the Americas, knighted by King of Spain himself. The first slave king in the Americas was a PR’can slave, sent to Venezuela and established a kingdom there. Why am I saying this??? Because I feel that other peoples, specially some Americans and even other Latinos, despite our current situation, which is shameful I admit, kinda tend to look down on us. And I can keep enumerating a lot of other incredible history to you, that’s why I’m saying this, we have an incredible history that even other Puerto Ricans don’t know, we have the capacity for either statehood or independence, what we lack is political discipline, that’s what we lack, the capacity is there, not the discipline, I’m sorry to say.

Some suggestions for next time. Don’t wear black, use light colors and light fabrics to walk around Old SJ, you’ll feel the difference with the heat. La Mallorquina is the traditional place for mallorcas, and Barrachina is the birth place of Pina Colada. Tour El Convento Hotel. The patio bar is great for drinks, and it’s historical ambience is beautiful. Tour San Cristobal Fort. It’s smaller than El Morro, but I’ve always felt it was much more interesting since it housed and fed the garrisons. If you can, walk the streets of Old SJ at dusk. Thursday thru Sunday you can enjoy local party vibes and a great drink at La Vergüenza and the alley it’s adjacent to., plus the view from the 2nd story terrace is amazing! The best light for touring Old SJ is dusk, and when the street and house lights start coming on it can be magical. Have a meal at The Cannon Club if you want to feel what it could have been like when the colonial Spanish elite made their homes their. Just a few of the many things you can do in a day.

Hi, 🐕🐶🐕May I share the most important news you will ever hear? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
