I was very disappointed with my Coke version GMT. Beautiful looking timepiece, unfortunately the Hong Zhu movement started grinding after only a couple of months. Didn't send it back under guaranty because I'd have only got another watch with the Hong Zhu movement, which I don't trust. So I replaced the movement with an NH35A movement and handset for Seiko Mercedes hands, so now I basically have a PD1661 with a Coke bezel. Living here in beautiful Thailand I don't think that I'll be requiring the GMT option any longer. Keep it steady my plum. JANBOY. RN. Rtd.

It took me a while to figure out the Pagani Design emblem myself. You have to look at it sideways with the point of the shield facing to your right. You'll notice a small P inside of a large D. I guess they turned it that way to mimic a "Swiss" style shield.

Hope you get to visit Vancouver / BC. Amazingly beautiful British flavor surrounded by vast forests and warm seas. Lots of British (Scots, Welsh and English there. So the language won't be a problem, once you have gotten settled.😄 Spent an afternoon sailing amongst the small forested islands, watching eagles fish, in my shirt sleeves in winter. Skipper was retired RAF. Sat in lodge, next to a nice friendly gent, looked like a cross between Gary Cooper and David Niven. The master annoinced that we had a special guest (besides myself and much more special) who was a past provincial grand master, and that he was going to tell of his recent visit with his first cousin. I wispered to the nice gentleman, who was my escort for my visit, wondering who the PGM was and who was his cousin. He smiled and that would be me, and my cousin is the Queen. Well that was an interesting visit indeed. The cherry on the sundae was my winning a liter of Dr. McGillicudy's Snakebite Elixer. If you wonder, it was re-labelled Canadian whiskey. British Columbia but very Canadian too. Everyone I met were friendly and hard workwor, from business folks to the lodge to the Canadian Legion post, where I was welcomed as a ch Warrant Officer. I have been in almost every provence from BC to Newfoundland. Loved them all, except Calgary in winter (think Siberia). But the Maritimes and Victoria are my fav. Visited England as well, but only south east (where Dover Castle and Salibury were a special treat). Hoped for Scotland but never made it. Again enjoyed your nice review and decided to buy the GMT for my Army son. Best wishes. Karl

I've been lots of times to BC to visit family. Can't compliment the place or the people enough. It's a dream location. I live in South East England, and the cost of living here unless wealthy is not great. Nice area, but very busy and stressful! Bought one in early September, arrived promptly. I returned it immediately due to poor quality. Bits of metal shavings were around the case particularly near the lugs. Main problem was the gmt hand could not be set accurately , when the crown was pulled out after setting the required foreign time, the gmt hand would jump forward by about 15 - 20 mins. The cyclops was misaligned and magnification very odd. Refund has been promised by AliExpress but has not arrived yet.

Great review. You can return the watch for a full refund or get a partial refund whichever suits you. I don't think its acceptable for them to send you a watch with sharp edges personally. I have a selection of these watches and they were fine. One other non Pagani watch wasn't so I returned it for a full refund. You have to substantiate your reasons for returning by forwarding them photos and they decide the options. I think they offer a voucher for your return postage which can be used for future purchases.

Great review. I have one on a jubilee bracelet on the way. I subscribed just finding your channel. I do own a Hulk and it's only +3 seconds a day. Its flawless. Great beach watch. I have a Panzera Aquamarine pro diver on it's way , whiis my first Australian watch. I also ordered a Vostok Komandirski K39 390774 on Meramon website this weekend with its 20% off sale. I am a micro brands watch fan. My whole collection is less money than a Breitling Avenger I have been looking at.

i prefer this to the yachtmaster, the bezel is a bit chunky for me. then the seiko is a better movement. Just cant hot the sweet spot yet.

I bought a suite of Pagani Design watches. 1 black and 1 gold and blue Submariner. 1 White face Daytona and a red and blue GMT. I’ve only worn the GMT and which is nicely finished and keeps good time but was somewhat surprised when I properly inspected the back and saw a 7mm of O ring hanging out between the watch body and the glass back so it’s obviously not waterproof just now. I messaged via AliExpress and they suggested I take it to a watch repair shop. No I said, I’m not paying for that so send me the O ring please as I’ve just ordered a watch back removal tool. Ok they said. A few days later I inquire as to whether that O ring has been sent to which they replied it’s too small to post. I’m not impressed with after sales, it’s just a bloody rubber ring and with just that could have kept me happy, but na, can’t be bothered it seems. I had gotten these watches to check for quality with a view to importing them, a little side line but pffft, not so sure now.

Unfortunately one of the pitfalls of importing. Aftersales is what makes the difference to a watch being good value one minute, to a waste of money the next!

I ordered this watch a few weeks ago, but they sent me the wrong watch. A 44/43mm black submarine with a broken wiggly bezel, wich also is too big for my wrist. I contacted them and they told me to “just keep the watch” because “its a very popular watch too..” if i wish to return the watch ill have to pay $38 transport costs. Very bad service, never pagani design for me again.

Normally, a GMT watch clicks to the correct position when adjusting it foward or back to align exactly with the other time zone.

You can hand wind an automatic watch all day and you'll never reach a stopping point like you would with a non-automatic. That's because the mainspring is designed to slip when fully wound, thus preventing over-winding by the rotor. If you put the watch up to your ear as you hand wind it, you can hear the mainspring bridle slip at full wind. This is normal.

Certainly is an improvement on the pagani sub, I have the same issues with the sloppy bezel no sharp edges on the bracelet but it's just awful if I'm honest the screw links kept coming undone & the clasp was so wobbly it was almost funny oh & the sweaty day extension you would need pliers to open it 😂 needles to say it's now on an aftermarket strap. That gmt does look like a much better watch all round. 👍

I know it's a stab in the dark but would you be willing to give this watch away for my dad? I have been looking for a replica Rolex GMT for ages now. I want to get it as a Birthday gift for my dad who is a huge Rolex GMT fan and loves Rolex watches. I want to be able to give him this watch on his birthday (which is early June) as a way of saying thankyou to him for helping me in life and especially in school over the last year, as I was in my final year of high school and I completed it from home.
