We might make good mowers like that here in the U.K. but you guys make the best mowers in terms of standers and sit ons like scag Exmark Wright etc we import loads of those mowers into this country. Amazing mowers! Good to see we’re using each country’s mowers to make the job look as good and as quick as possible.

Allett puts together some great equipment. I never thought I would see this one put on a lawn but you did it. This is a very high end machine that I wouldn't say is made for residential use but if someone out there wants the best, I don't think they could go wrong here. Pete can we do a video on the best commercial 30 mower? I know scat makes one Ferris makes one exmark commercial. As a home owner i might not need a stand on mower but would like something commercial grade. I have to step up my game. I have a 5000 sq ft lawn all flat. With a privacy fence out back hard to get a stand on out back unless I get the Ferris Z1. I’m don’t wanna buy another cheap crap from Lowe’s or Home Depot. I think if your really wanting a great 30 or higher you need to go commercial they are just built better you get what you pay for

Pete I know you've used all types and sizes of mowers. Have you done a mower guide video comparing commercial to residential mowers? I feel the commercial will generally give a better cut probably due to blade tip speed but would love your thoughts. Some of my customers however do not want a heavy commercial mower on their turf.

The brush is mainly used to help the turf stand more up so the mower can achieve a better cut. Golf courses have been using this technology on their reel mowers for a number of years now.

7:00 I'm always amazed at things like this. Not so much that the drive lever also takes the safety lever up, but the fact that the mower from 1997 I've used as a kid had this exact same feature. It also had a single-point height adjustment, something that still almost no mower up until today seems to have. Really odd when I see people amazed about, or wishing for functionality that I was so used to as a kid.

Hey pete awesome video. I planted fescue almost 50 days ago. Germination in 7 day but it got to about 2.5-3" at about 21days and has stalled. Soil test is good. I'm stumped....any ideas or advice?

Hey Pete, two questions: 1. Do you not prefer mulching attachments on your mowers? I see you side discharging on almost all your different machines and your double cut being a second side discharge or bagging the extra clippings/leaves. 2. Since your a equipment guy, have you tried a Simplicity lawn tractor? There are not many reviews, but everyone I talk to says how they cut just as well as most commercial machines and lay amazing stripes. They are known for their free floating decks and built in rollers on all models. I know Allyn has one and posted a video awhile back using it at the Freedom Factory striping the St Aug.

I agree with everything @10.45 mark, except another TRICK it has over say a Timemaster are those Blades. Look at the wing on that blade. Thats the Magic. its pulling up everything with the extreme high lift wing on the blade. The Timemaster is lacking there....with OEM blades. I put a set of High lift Ballard blades on my timemaster and the mower NOW can suck up all the debris (pine cones-needles bark etc) They are not as pronounced as those Uplift 86 blades, but better than OEM toro. It does pull some power out of the 223cc engine, but it handles it. btw.....the stripes the timemaster leaves now....with ballard high lifts....without any striper is incredible.

Toro has a similar product but for me I'm transitioning to a reel mower especially the Allett Kensington 20 B or H with the 6 different cartridges plus the stand its just a better cut ✂️ and a all in one machine. A lawn up the street is establish, beautiful, and "Lime color". Asking as I am new to all this just this year, ( total lawn restoration 26August ). I have tuff mix: Kbg, red feacue, rye. Young lawn became the envy of the neighborhood. Took some damage with hard freeze suddenly down to 19 at night for 2 nights, a day later 3.5 inches of snow, a day later rain...created areas of ice...frost bite patches died off. Even possible fungus, but not sure...I thought fungus was in humid wet conditions. Hey... then back to 68 day with 42 at night.....geez. Dormant seeding coming up. Why would you mulch anything ? You need to rake your ass off all season as well as Blow Off the lawn until your tired of doing so,if you want a nice lawn. You have lots of dead grass,dubris & thatch normally that has to come off,there is no reason to mulch & leave crap on the soil. No nutrition there or why would it be necessary to apply Fert,Herbicides & Fungicides through out the year !

No. But not far off. This mower and the Dennis 34 are for picking up debris and “divots” or torn turf after a game/match. But they made it so well that the cut quality and after it appearance are close, really close to a reel mower. It also is heavy with a solid roller, helping keep playing surfaces rolled and smooth which doesn’t happen as well with a riding reel mower with the heads only weighing 110-150 pounds each. It’s a money saver if you’re using it commercially.
