I got the deluxe hurricane $341 delivered. Huge step up in QC over my monsoon ver 2. Has push/pull on the tone. Love the giant fret markers. Nice case. Tuners are very close together but work well.

Very nice looking guitar for sure Dave. It really sounds good. I have two Monsoon's. The first gen and the 2nd gen (Or is it the 3rd gen) with locking turners. I was thinking about getting the Deluxe or the Hurricane, but I'll just stick with the two I have for now.

I just got my hurricane this week beautiful Gutiar . I’ve bought all there shred gutiars, so far I like the tempest the best , to make a shred Gutiar without a whammy I think is like making a race car with street tires, I’ve had a bit of trouble keeping them in tune playing hard on them and the e string gets stuck under the front pick up , the tempest with all these upgrades with the Floydrose or locking system would be the best , Jackson makes a 400 dollar floydrose version that I think is the best for the money, but I keep supporting Leo I love there stuff

I have the exact same burl top and I have no clue how they could improve on it mine is perfect. I did want one of the Monsoons with the resin wood top and they sold out. I really want this new one but my liquid cash is slowly dwindling and truthfully I do not have the room for much more. My guitar collection has taken up my whole living room which now I call my music room because there is no furniture just guitars and other instruments filling it. That finish is polished to a glass finish when you were holding it up to the light it looked perfect. I change strings and set up every guitar I get no matter the brand and cost because I like it the way I set it up with the gauge of strings I prefer. My LJ Monsoon was almost set up perfectly for me the biggest surprise was the intonation was spot on! Rarely I find a guitar set up to my liking. Hopefully they will have a sale maybe Cyber Monday or Black Friday and I'll grab one. (?)

Man, my personal experience with a Leo J guitar was the worst of my purchases. They do some things so perfect, but other things (playable) quality was horrible!. Frets not leveled. The neck looking down the edges from the head stock weaved in and out like it was warped. etc I love the looks and very affordable, but I have a hard time recommending them. Hopefully they are learning and improving! I have hope

Ive been looking at those monsoons lately and they look sweet man...cool paint jobs on some....ive got a couple of Leo james guitars and they're sweet .i cant complain about them because i paid less than 200 bux .....the only thing i didnt like was the glossy neck its hard yo play on that neck in the summer because of the humidity in your fingers so my leos are mostly a winter time guitar for the obvious non humidity condition 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
