Sekitar tahun 1970, di bandung ada kue terang bulan atau nama chinanya Lo piau, berbeda dengan kue yang namanya martabak, terang bulan tanpa toping, bentuknya lebih tipis , lebih lembek, tanpa mentega, Sementara martabak teksturnya lebih berpori, ada toping keju, kacang atau coklat , ditambah margarine, bentuknya lebih tebal dari kue terang bulan, pada tahun 1970 di bandung ada 3 jenis martabak, yaitu 1. Martabak pasar untuk sarapan pagi dengan pilihan topingnya ada kacang, cokelat, selai strawberry, biasa dijual diwarung yang dibeli dari pasar dan sudah dipotong kecil , kita bisa beli 1 potong atau banyak potongan, 2.martanak yang dibuat disore hari, dibeli harus 1 wajan dengan toping yang lebih enak, ditambah mentega, ada rasa keju, kacang, coklat. 3. Martabak Acep dan martabak jalan Burangrang, inilah martabak paling terkenal dan terenak dibandung dengan toping yang lebih variasi rasa dengan harga lebih mahal , seperti jenis martabak saat ini, Yang banyak ditiru, dari 2 tempat ini adalah pionir martabak yang ada di indonesia saat ini, martabak jenis ke 3 ini ada sejak tahun 1950, saudara saya yang datang dari Bogor, jakarta, Jogja, Semarang menyebutnya kue bandung ada juga yang menyebutnya martabak bandung pada saat itu, padahalenurut kakek saya yang kelahiran 1885, pada usia 20 tahun pertama kali ke bandung, kue martabak asin dan manis sudah ada dibandung , bandung sendiri pada saat itu banyak memproduksi cokelat, susu, keju lokal, margarine yang diproduksi orang2 Belanda( deutch).

Saya sudah keliling Indonesia, martabak manis paling enak dan sangat tebal namun tetap lembut dan wangi susu karena menggunakan mentega wisman adalah di kota Palembang tapi saya lupa namanya dan kalau tidak salah tempatnya di dekat alun-alun bundaran air mancur depan jembatan ampera depan mesjid agung yang paling legenda disana, dan saat saya kesana kata orang lokal disana martabak tersebut sudah ada sejak tahun 1900an, mungkin anda juga bisa berkunjung ke kota Palembang karena ada banyak bangunan antik bersejarah disana dan makanan dan masakan paling enak-enak ada disana, untuk kuliner paling enak disana karena punya cita rasa tinggi

Silke got a new hair style 😁 congrats for that ✌🏻😇 look's good. As far as i know ( as one of a generation borned in 1980) : In the early year 1980, there is no many types of martabak. The only existed is what we call MARTABAK BANGKA & Martabak Telur.. Yuups that is the source & original martabak dessert in whole indonesia. Bangka is one of the region in indonesia (Bangka belitung) sumatran province. They made the most delicous martabak. And then for many years, the martabak became expanding with a lots of creativities,names and ingredients, one of it is what you eat in this vlog. Dont worry about the calories...you dont eat it everydays 🤣 beside, you and silke is a very active couple..Calories wont beat you hahahah 😁😅🤣

There are many variations of martabak, some use the aroma of pandan leaves which are also very fragrant... It's like drinking avocado juice mixed with chocolate, Europeans think it's strange...
