A great little review, one note is that there are many other affordable options, the C5 and SmallRig Starlight/Startrail, whatever it's called is basically just The Tilta Mirage redesigned, all have pros and cons I'm sure but all incorporate 4x56 filters and their own proprietary 95mm filters like a VND and lots of 95mm FX filters as well as optional motors and expandability.

Very true. Both SmallRig & Tilta ones are great, but it seems that NiSi's comes out slightly on top with color cast, which is huge in my book. But can't really go wrong with any of those.

@@LOMISFILM Could not agree more, Tiltas VND is rough and NiSi definitely knows what they are doing!

but I didn't understand how many filters you can mount at the same time in total. I need cpl, nd and mist together. is it possible? please thank you.

The matte box has one 4x5.65 tray and one 4x4. But the adapter rings are threaded do you can use screw-on filters as well.

Do you notice any IR pollution? I am using a true color screw on filter with swit system IR cut on top. but I am looking for mattebox for their flag capability. This set doesn’t cut IR in 1-5 stops range and 1.2 ND is FSND instead of IRND. so it reduces IR evenly but it doesn’t cut it. So there would be ir pollution theoretically especially when VND is in higher stops.

I haven't noticed any IR pollution yet. I think cutting the range off at 5 stops minimizes all unwanted characteristics commonly found in VNDs as best as possible. Nothing will ever be perfect with VNDs, so It never hurts to add an IR cut filter in addition just to be sure. But I haven't noticed anything unacceptable yet anywhere near the amount I have with other screw-on or matte box VNDs I've owned in the past.
