2.5mm is a solid low key everyday (or pendant hanger), but 3.5 or 4mm is the way to go if it's in the budget. My 3.5mm 24" is perfect for everyday and not too flashy. How about a video of the mid sized ropes: 5, 6, 7mm? I'm trying to find that point of what's "too big" for every day.

I would get this thickness rope as a kid, I must of had three or so gold rope chains near this thickness and lost every one, either being a careless and rough kid but also because the rope not being that thick, would get snagged and break or like the last one I had broke and I got it repaired which looked like shit. So just my opinion, the next time I get a rope or if I was to get one now, I wouldn't go thinner than a 5mm.

Rope chain for daily is not a good chain design.if you're hairy on neck part or you have baby hairs on the back of your head,it pinches those hairs when the rope chain rolled into it.also,when you taking a bath and putting soap,the soap grinds on the roap chain and small portion will stuck there if you dont wash it good. You cant even fold the rope chain all the time,if you do,it will put stress on the small tiny bits and might crack that do damage.cuban chain design is the best for DAILY. Most durable,foldable,easier to clean,won't pinch your baby hairs lol.
