Is This The Best Stroller? Graco Modes Nest Review

I can't believe how lightweight and full functional this stroller is. I truly wish this Graco stroller was something I had researched prior to Scarlett being born. This has to be a 10/10 product and absolute must have for parents. Very affordable and a wide range of features, what more could you ask for in a stroller for your baby!?

Whats nice too is that if any parts DO break, Graco sells the parts to fix it so you dont need to replace it all

I have this stroller and i like yourself wish i found it a lot sooner. Bought it at target's graco sale and love it. Used it for my vacation 2 weeks ago and yes you're right it got really scratched up on the areas you mentioned. Everything mentioned in video is 100% accurate and I too would recommend this stroller

Thank you! Another thing I found is that when folding it, sometimes the wheels get in the way of each other preventing the latch from snapping in place. But that’s a small con compared to all the good things about this stroller

I just got the graco nest stroller today at work it was a slow day so between costumers I will go to the storage room and star putting together all the pieces my baby it’s due till July and I can’t wait to see my baby on the stroller I’m first time parent the excitement it’s huge

Thank you for the review! I have put off buying a stroller because I keep researching and every time I decide on one, I find something bad about it. My son is now 15 months old and I really need a stroller because he is getting too heavy to carry. I was looking at this particular model at buy buy baby yesterday and you have convinced me to buy it!

I’m so glad I could be of help with that! It’s a great lightweight stroller. The only thing missing that is like to see on updated models is a tray for mom or dad at the top of the handle area for keys or snacks, but otherwise it’s a perfect stroller! The bassinet feature is great for on the go diaper changes too!!!

@@DadTalk yes, that would definitely be helpful. I will but a mini pouch on Amazon to hang there for my snacks and keys lol. Yes! The on the bassinet for on the go diaper changes is a big plus! I don’t like using public restrooms lol

Thanks for this awesome video! I'm due in October and so overwhelmed by the amount of stroller/car seat options. Have been doing a bunch of research and I think I've settled between this or the Chicco Bravo travel system so it's interesting that you mentioned that one in the video! Would you recommend this one over the chicco one?

If you get the complete Graco system with the snap in car seat, this is hands down the better option. It’s much lighter than the chicco system. However, the chicco stroller did have a better handle tray for keys, etc, but the underneath storage on the Graco makes up for it

That’s the stroller we went with. It just seems like it takes up a lot more space than other strollers

Both of our strollers are equally way too big. I feel like would could honestly make better use of those really cheap $20 strollers some days, but these are great for family trips to the park, playground etc.

@@DadTalk I think we’re probably going to get as much use out of this one until she’s no longer small enough to use the bassinet and car seat and then we might look for something a little more compact but still good quality. Right now we just like the feature of being able to slide her closer to us so we don’t have to reach that far for Sawyer to grab our fingers or to get to her in general.

Would you say this would fit nicely in the trunk of a Toyota RAV4 with groceries and older children’s ball bags? Also you mentioned it worked well off road, so it has wheel suspension? We have older children that play baseball so I need a stroller that can be traveled with and handle grass and dirt terrain well! Thank you so much for your review!

Hello! Thanks for watching. This doesn’t have wheel suspension, it just works pretty well on grass and dirt. We can do our grocery shopping with it in the back of a Honda Fit, but if we’re doing more and a 3-4 bags worth, we take it out. A RAV4 has a bit more space, you might be able to leave it in if you pull down a back seat and slide it sideways. Thanks again for watching!

I'm not due until May but I ordered the Graco Modes Pramette travel system bc I saw it on a few top 5 lists. It's more affordable than the Nest and the only significant difference appears to be the hight adjustment feature which the Pramette doesn't have.

We honestly have been using the Chicco Bravo 3 more than the Graco. We find it’s just easier to fold and open up with the handle placement. Our daughter prefers to sit in the chicco one as well

Question: I'm expecting my first. How would you feel about not having the car seat attachment and wheeling your teeny infant around in the bassinet? I was thinking of buying this and one of the bigger carseats that grows all the way up with them instead of a separate infant carseat.

I have the exact same question. I have the Graco 4-in-1 car seat already, so I don’t want the car seat add on. I want to go from bassinet, straight to the stroller option. I think we will have to use the bassinet mode until they’re at least 6 months.

Can the straps be removed when in bassinet mode? I want to use the bassinet inside at times and I’m worried about the straps not being safe for sleeping if I’m not using them.

Yeah we just take her out, it’s difficult to change positions with her in, I don’t think it’s meant to change to bassinet while baby is still in it.

@@DadTalk oh okay … would have been nice to do that when the baby sleeps off in the toddler seat mode and you want to make the baby more comfortable by opening up the bassinet. Removing the sleeping baby to change the position defeats the whole purpose of having this arrangement ☹️

Yes! There is a strap on the back, the tighter it is pulled, the higher straighter up it sits. There’s a one button release for it to recline back quickly if need be.

The only stroller comparable to the height adjustable seat is the Stokke Xplory which is over $1000. Graco nest modes is kind of a big deal. The only downside is that it's HUGE at the bottom. I'm torn between this and the bugaboo bee w/bassinet because of the smaller footprint and awesome 4 wheel suspension on the bugaboo bee.

@@ally72496 yes, they’re still working very well. Our other stroller (chicco), we kind of abused and took pretty much all over different terrain and the wheels wore down, but still function. The Graco one we use normally, cement, sidewalks, grass, tile. Nothing off the norm, holding up very well but we’re also not taking it to the beach or on hikes
