I have 4of these knives and find them to be excellent knives. Great value too! ‘Like a normal person’ 😂 only dumb yanks use ounces.

I am a Blacksmith from Germany but this is sick, Why? One Guy collect so much anvils for what?? There are a lot of young Blacksmith in Europe who are searching for a good and cheap anvil and other stuff for forging. This Guy never worked with that stuff he need it for his egoism. This ist absolut sick and this anvils get rust.

I soak wooden handles in oil for 2 weeks to a month. It fully penetrates the wood and when it dries it's a different type of finish, and Blades get coated with Vaseline. I always carry Vaseline for skin care, starting fires Etc.

Interesting. A vice you need a crane to mount on your solid block of wood bench. Why?

I'd assumed the anneal and temper parts which are largely hands off are not part of the one day. Then since quench was 11:30am I knew they had not been annealed beyond air cooled one time, maybe. I'd love to see more professional Bladesmiths talk the off camera, boring parts of bladesmithing that are not perhaps camera friendly. Okay, complaints over, both of you are master craftsmen. Make on.

Wtf is with the title? You say its a good knife and a great value yet the title just slams hedley and bennett? You even put a thumbs down next to their brand name? Bro im unsubbed for this, i really hate to see someone trying to pretend they're making an honest living while still falling back on manipulation tactics for their video title

A well designed & appropriately sized knife handle will have facets to engage every segment of each of our four fingers & the tip of the thumb. Well designed & crafted knife handles reduce the relative grip strength necessary to safely handle a knife by 80%. This is possible I have created prototypes and am in the process of creating tooling to make these handles affordable.

Looks like a good knife but Brazilian exchange rate and import tax are brutal. 150 dollars turns out to be 1450 reais, that's a lot of money. For that price I can buy a custom made 52100 steel, 63HRC, mirror grain fracture and with edge thin enough to deflect on nails. After that I still got enough money to buy a second one.
