so to anyone who to try this mod and is going to use this video as a guide just note, there are 3 blueprints, they're called "data boxes" , inside the alterra fabricator wreck you will have to find these before leaving the wreck, otherwise you will not be able to craft the beginning items needed to start the FCS mod, that being the Alterra Depot, the Drone terminal, and the ore consumer. If you do not find these blueprints you will not be able to build the ore consumer, which is what gives you the money to buy the items, the items are then transported to your base via drone terminal, and those items will then be deposited into the alterra depot. Finding these 3 data boxes are ESSENTIAL to starting the FCS mod unless you use creative mode, so just remember to find these data boxes. Speedy just had a small oversight a lot of people forget these data boxes even exist including myself so he did nothing wrong. Other than that he showcased the mod very well and recommend people to try this mod out, especially if you are struggling to find something to do to play subnautica, now you can spend your time mining for ores to pay off you debt that is what I'm currently doing in a hardcore playthrough and let me tell you it is stressful.

You and Me both didn't realize that there's something really important in the room full of crates. The entire wreck is littered with stuff, including 3 boxes with blueprints for the drone hub, alterra hub, and ore consumer. If you miss 1, you can't do anything.

That wreck needs to be more simplified, because even with the maximum amount of Oxygen available in the game, there's no way you would be able to do all of that on a single trip and the fact the vents are structured like a maze just makes the problem worse, making a wreck look beautiful and look like it was a part of the Aurora ship is one thing, making that wreck easy to traverse is a whole different thing, hell I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people drowned trying to get the Cuddlefish egg that's inside the giant tree in the Mushroom Forest since that damn thing's a maze even with the tool that makes beacons, you only have a limited amount of those beacons and a limited amount of battery in said tool.

That's what Seamoths are for. Or you could carry an extra oxygen tank and swap them over. Personally, my modded save has Refillable Tanks installed, so I was (with the exception of needing to go get power cells) able to activate the wreck with just the contents of a single ultra-capacity tank.

Hear me out. Ore consumer near sea treaders path as everyone may know the sea treaders can bring shale to the surface.. Build a moonpool with a bioreactor and a hatch leading to the consumer. The other slots on the seamoth can be used for storage and once the seamoth is full dump ores on alterra. Itd be interesting if ore gained or lost value every day that passes on earth. But then again. How long is 24 earth hours while we're on 4546B?.

You can, you just have to install the new version after you finish. They also have said that it is recommended to start a new game with the mods installed because otherwise there might be bugs.

Please take note, there are 2 known bugs. 1. While drone is delivering, if you die, quit or deconstruct the receiving unit, the drone will get stuck delivering. From that time onwards, no goods will be delivered, no matter what you do. Unless you redo the Alterra Hub quest all over again. But I have a solution. Goto your save file, look for Alterra Hub directory, edit the file found in there, where there is a line drone spawn = true. Change the true to false. This will force the Alterra Hub to respawn another drone, to take over the stuck drone. 2. The material database will disappear every now and then. This is due to the duplicator/repeator, harvestor names are duplicated, causing the saved data to be overwritten and corrupted. To prevent the program crash due to this, the whole database is wiped. This will have to be fixed by developer as it is hard coded. 3. Due to duplicating bug above, the numbers in the base computer are incorrect. These are some bugs found, there maybe other which I have not encounter them yet.

Is anybody else having issues where the alterra hub and power solutions are not loading? every time i start subnautica it says "The following mods could not be loaded: FCS Energy Solutions and FCS Alterra Hub. Check the log for more information." in the log, it says "Fallback handler could not load library C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Subnautica/Subnautica_Data/Mono/data-.dll" I have tried both manual installation and vortex installation (vortex is what i mainly use). I followed the instruction on the website, but nothing seems to work. Does anybody know how to fix this?

In universe, there was a massacre using emergency weapons and someone passed gun control legislation so now you only have a dinky knife to defend yourself from giant predators. Honestly, it's quite funny how they tried to make an anti-gun political statement and ended up with a pro-gun argument.
