I've tinkered with things, and got them working again. The fun is in the taking it apart, and get all back together. The amazing thing is it's working, but then there are couple of parts left over.

If you don't have a few bits left over, have you even fixed it? 🙂

You probably know this already, but just in case you didn't, white vinegar is great for neutralising and removing the acid from leaky batteries. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family 🎄

Tis a Christmas miracle!! Entertaining as ever. I was hoping a complete strip down, full wailing an gnashing of teeth, soldering new parts. All it was... new batteries....booo.

I was anticipating it being completely borked, but it turned out to be something simple, as is often the case. Believe me, the next project has plenty of wailing and gnashing of teeth - that's why it's taking so long 🙂

This usually happens . The batteries leak and you have to clean the contacts to get them going again.

Well, they've been told to take the batteries out when they're done with it. Whether they do or not remains to be seen... 🙂
