Are we gonna ignore how f*ing fire the song is? Awesome! And yes I agree. I have been trying to justify upgrading the intake manifold myself. I wanted to get as much power as possible from the Stage 2+ setup (I drive track days every now and then and intake temperatures proved to be a problem) and this is exactly what I wanted. A good consistent power bump with repeatability

Really enjoying this build series approach and seeing proper back to back testing being done along the way!! Aside from a drop in intake temps, was there also a gain in turbo efficiency? i.e. Lower WG Duty Cycle?

DAW is apparently coming out with their “stage 1” hyper core upgrade for gen 2s in the next few months. If one wanted to stay around stock turbo power limits, do you think going that hypercore route would be another way to drop IAT with more efficient turbo instead of this intake manifold? Cheers

Yes water meth also aids in cooling and knock suppression.. but as explained in the video port meth is not ideal with stock manifold or E50

I’m considering using the air con circuit to cool the charge cooler instead of a separate water circuit on my S58 as long as it would take the refrigerant pressure . Anyone tried similar ? Track car so aux stuff etc is irrelevant.

I don’t think that manifold has port injection… it has meth injection and nitrous ports…
