It was accidentally interesting. He lost his balance after he dangerously lept over the defender, spun around due to the loss of balance and managed to regain himself in time to take a shot on net. Calling it anywhere near one of the best goals ever is not giving credit to the many many intentional awesome goals of all time. Best goals among the flames since Lanny though... so I guess that's something.

Nah, I agree. It wasn't really a "jump and spin move"... he lept over a downed player. And spun because he couldn't stick the landing otherwise. Maybe if he went bar down... but he just ripped it on net from the hash. Bedard's Michigan takes a metric ton more skill than hopping over a guy and salvaging the near blown tire
