You don't look into why it's free. Do they scrape your code - is there an agreement that you can opt out of sending your data? Free lunches usually come with catches

​@@1littlecoder AI can use any available code for training. Even if yours is just another piece of code jn a quadrillion, they can still have use for it. I'm not saying that's what they are doing here, but your reasoning for them not doing it is at best naiive.

What does 2000 completions mean? Is it the complete code block on one prompt equals 1 single completion? And what are the 50 chat completions? How is it calculated?

I think it basically works like two different prompts, one for code completion and the other for chat. That way you don't use the chat for something else since Claude 3.5 Sonnet is pretty expensive and Microsoft is paying Anthropic everytime you use their API endpoint

Copilot came much earlier than Cursor, so definitely not bad. But it'd be nice to do a comparison!

The problem is that currently not any other product ( Cursor / Windsurf) has addressed the AI Agent not making like a maniac, unauthorised changes to the code when you promt. The bigger the project, the more stupid unauthorised changes to the code!
