The reason I like this hike so much is that it's a hike anyone can do but you still get the same views as if you go somewhere very remote. Zermatt was built up because of the perfect nature around it and they've made it very convenient for anyone to experience it! As stated in the video I've done MUCH more than what is in this video so if you want tips or insight please write a separate comment and I'll try to help you :)

I love Switzerland but the area out of Zermatt near the Matterhorn is pretty developed. Don't expect to get a remote feel (unless you were to hike out to the glaciers). There is always a gondola, a hut or other structure in view.

It is very simple : at least 50% of people who went to Zermatt failed to see Matterhorn Most tourists are completely unaware how weather will affect their chance of seeing Matterhorn, and just go there like Matterhorn will open for them.

Hi Tech news, This year is a bit hot so I am not totally sure so I would suggest you checking a bit closer to make sure but this is a picture from mid May so you can expect a fair amount of snow at that poitn --> instagram.com/p/BxSDfJ9h-3P/? But if you want more info about snowshoe hiking and "normal" hiking you can find more info here --> www.zermatt.ch/en/winter-hiking-snowshoeing?gclid=CjwKCAiA3pugBhAwEiwAWFzwdeArrceNrhCv-Sa8TBOj1YHHQbJ4mh8f37hnBpZtoKlG5vJVRv1J4BoCZWcQAvD_BwE This will also be a pretty trail giving you most of the views, you can for example take the train all the way up and enjoy the view and then take the train down to jump on this trail --> www.zermatt.ch/Media/Wanderungen-Touren-finden/Panorama-Trail-Nr.-142

I've been there together with being around the highest peaks of Switzerland, let me put it this way, I wouldn't go there if I could pick😅 but it you can't manage high altitude it's a good place to go given you can take the train 😉 Just fyi, the highest peak in Switzerland is Dufourspitze which you see in this video in the beginning, it's behind the glacier you have in the video, 4634m
