How? Not arguing its not a nicer solution but it seems to just remove the need for crimps, a fuse-block, midi fuse block and busbar?? I still cant see the value

By the time I costed all that in and not being the most confident in wiring up a 12v system I feel like i have the best and definitely safest system I could have installed myself. I also love how neat and compact it is.

@@scottsokolenko3718 that i think is where this gear shines/makes sense - people sitting on the edge of attempting it themselves, installers that want quick turnaround & the client’s paying and/or ocd people with the money. As a savvy 12v diyer, im not seeing the benefit vs cost. I just added it up and the parts will cost me 250 to do what the egon does, will it be as simple to wire and as pretty, no but it will be close!!

@@Haveacrack76I've just bought my old 4x4 back, a friend bought it to serve a purpose, but didn't like how much bigger it was compared to their van, so I'm back on the Rd 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I' first seen the DC Hub on Andrew St Pierre White's 4xOverland KZbin Channel about 12 months ago, a brilliant product and something as simple I hadn't been able to find in Australia, but due to health issues I couldn't justify the cost at the time either. Well 12 months on Life has Changed somewhat, and I've just ordered my DC Hub yesterday. Not 100% shore when I'll pull my old electrical system out, I'm thinking more after the New Year when my Roster gives me a couple weekends off, but My Auto Electrical Mate is more keen to get his hands on the DC Hub and get it installed sooner then later . . . I think he's looking at next weekend lol . . . he might win. Either way, it looks like a game changer when it comes to Power In and Power Out management and simplicity . . . I am looking so forward to getting it into my Canopy setup

really interested in how you did the physical switching, was it done with relays or does the egon have ability to do switching ?
@Haveacrack76

Physical switches. Egon do make a relay hub as well. I didnt need anything like that here.
