Define win more... xD T1 wins worlds and lose everything for entire year. Reason why they win worlds might be different than what people think it is... Worlds format is way more random in general and there is way less good practice. There is no double elimination like in lck or msi. There is way less bo5's in the worlds than any other tournament. There are almost no scrims because there is nobody to scrim with, you can't practice on solo que too because patches differs too much. Tons of press stuff, way more attention the further you go, way more than anything you encounter in your region or msi. T1 is decent despite not getting practice (getting ddosed entire year and still pulling relatively good plays proves it) T1 is used to having tons of press stuff all the time, they are the most media team out there, especially faker. They can play everything on every role to some lvl so they can easily adapt to every meta shift through out tournament way faster than other teams.

sup dom, just a little insight from a different sport, from soccer, theres the champions league wich is considered to be more important than domestic leagues not even close, and by winning that league the clubs get prestige and fame, this can be said about the worlds tournament and domestic tournaments on league, domestic ones are great and all but ultimately what matters is the prestige and fame you get when you win worlds

@@jr4god11 Not to an extent. There isnt a single domestic league that is more important than champions league. Not even the english league, wish is the strongest, has more relevance than champions. The domestic leagues have their relevance to attribute the final awards but the champions performance has the most relevance if you want to weight both. You win a champions league, your team is in the mouth of the world. Worlds is different id think. It has been stated at some point i was harder to win lck than it was winning worlds, but im not sure thats the case now

But not anymore ever since LPL took the crown for 2018, 2019, and 2021, which rivaled LCK and even surpassed them for a few years. But seems like LCK is bouncing back on top since LPL couldnt win MSI too this year. I think the reason why we see so many team fall apart in worlds is because this same T1 was tempered through so many years of heartbreaks and loss as a team. Thus, they can clutch up more when it mattered the most. They got so many second place finishes in LCK and losing Worlds 2022, they still decided to stick together and i think this helps them to grow as a team. For players, even if they lose. they just move on to another team next year. Chemistry and trust is built with time.

This is what happened when you watch too much LPL. You grade players based on mechanics and mechanics only. When a team win you praise their mechanic; when a team lose, you blame their worst performing players. Mechanics is important to a team's success, but is not the only thing. LPL kept getting out-drafted and out-macroed and that's why they lose. Beryl definitely deserved to be in the conversation of being the best support of all time despite Keria has better mechanics. '

It's relevant the teams are good but they patch to make the most popular teams more relevant. The meta changed to something T1 likes like it has for three years at worlds. Every popular team gets buffed a lot to create more views which benefits T1 the most since they are extremely popular. Like how G2 was getting buffed before. But it was still much more reasonable back then. Now they create the ideal metas for T1 and BLG for no reason other than to get lots of views. Instead of letting the game play out naturally.
