The tire also has only red letters at 1:15 on the lower part a TLR tire should have white TLR there as well, but the rim is hookless, and non-tubless tires arent a match for them, but then 26 also isnt good for hookless, even if it is a TLR tire, and 25mm inner width is out of the etrto pattern with a 26.

You can run tubes in hookless wheels as long as you still run a TLR tire, i've done it, it works just fine.

The funny thing i dont even know what tires they r using. At 1:15 it looks like there are only red letters on the lower part of the tire. That indicates Pzero Race, but it isnt tubeless. The TLR version should have a white TLR there as well, regardless, this is for the TLR version: "Note: The sizes 28-622 and wider are compatible with the air pressure of 5bar with hookless rims. The sizes 26-622 and narrower are NOT compatible with hookless rims!". Tony says: 26 written on it, even if it is a tubeless version, it isnt compatible with hookless rims. Not to mention, it has a 25 inner width, but thats only compatible for 28 and up.

@@ThomasHubik The rear tire is a Pirelli P Zero TT tire while the front I would guess is a prototype P Zero Race. Although they are tube type tires they can definitely be used as tubeless tires. as for the the compatibility between the tires and hookless rims I think it depends on the rim width. Tony made a guess but didn't really confirm what the tires width actually is. I'm sure the teams mechanic knows what to do and the riders are riding compatible tires

Rule of thumb for sizing is that if you need a stem >120mm, usually, you should size up. Of course that’s for stock fit and not taking into account a tall person with long arms but short legs, or a racer who would want a shorter wheelbase and lower stack height to get more aero and have quicker handling.

@@bebopman5 I'd expect that 130mm stem compensates for the 38cm bars to get reach in the same place. I race with a 130mm stem to get enough weight on the front wheel for cornering. I've got big legs and skinny upper body so have too much weight on the rear otherwise. A larger bike with longer wheelbase would mess up the weight distribution even more.

No matter if it's the fastest bike in the world, it is definitely ugly and features too many proprietary parts (one-piece bar-stem, non-round seatpost with inserts). Nice for sponsored riders who get paid to ride it, have mechanics that take care of everything and are supplied with an endless stream of replacement parts. Not so nice for amateurs and hobbyists who have to pay for everything and wait months for broken parts to be available again.
