Glad your kids have a VR headset now :) I'd love to see a follow-up video once you get your "VR legs" and find more useful software.

Hi Morley! I just wanted to say your geodesic dome was soo cool. I was wondering if you could do a video using the a1 mini. That is what I have. Maybe a video about that for us poor families? Thanks for the awesome videos! Tell Abby I said hi! 😂🤪🐶

Great vid. I'm 40+ years in manufacturing, hand tools, power tools, cnc, etc. I'd never do something I couldn't see with my own eyes which is probably why I still have them.

Damn you are brave to use your electric woodworking tools with that thing on. P.S. Best use of this VR is to set darkest room scene and put on your wife. Then you would be able to just use the room light normally 😀

Great video! I think that would be easier if you turned off hand tracking but then you would have to carry one of the controllers with you.

Loved to watch all your videos so far. But this one made me just smile continuously. Of course the fun watching someone with a VR set from the outside was part of it. But I think it is all about your story telling an the production. Just keep up your attitude. It's more about the way you do it, than what the subject is. That said: This one was really fun 🙂

I could see VR being a little more useful if you had custom software for it. Attaching specific pages to different machines. Having a DRO for different machines so you can see in big letters the position of the table saw fence, height of the router bit, etc as you adjust it floating right on the machine. Pasting a fiduciary on the piece you're working on and seeing the planned cuts right on it even as you move it. But yeah the decrease in comfort and safety means you'd have to have a very big improvement in functionality to make it even worth thinking about.

I've been into VR for a decade now (see my posted videos) and you could not pay me enough to attempt this with current tech. Brave (and a little foolish), but glad you made it through with all digits intact. Hopefully you came away from this seeing the potential of where the tech can be in the future.

I get the high level point but i don’t think it made sense to make that point and get sick or potentially hurt yourself. I don’t believe anyone expects that

I think AR would be a better option for something like this. Microsoft were onto something with the hololens, but unfortunately the project went nowhere in the end.

It's a good thing that most modern tables saws will self destruct to save your fingers, without that technology this would never have been possible Also the delivery guy kicking the box 🥲

Love your channel, love your unique ideas for videos, but this one is plain silly. I'm sorry. since there is always a chance of a glitch viewing through the headset and hurting yourself this would be irresponsible to do. All of these problems with nausea and not seeing clearly is not worth it to be able to stick a PDF in your viewing area. There is no benefit and puts you more at risk. No thanks.

I couldn't finish watching the video. Whenever the VR content was shown, I felt dizzy. The content of the VR is just too shaky, no stabilisation. Please don't make any more of this kind.
